re: No respect
Hmmmm...The Pebble Beach judge in me says that the "bar" comes from an early series car (no fog lights, or fogs inscribed in the grille), while the "couch" has the unitary tail lights from the later series (like my series 3, #4823). So....either two cars were destoryed, or is this the "interim myste...

re: radios (and blind man damages my Ferrari)
I do not have a radio at all in my car, just a leather block off plate (I bought a small Radio Shack transistor radio for $6.99 if I need my NPR fix). My antenna, however, is in the back. I have no idea where or when it was done. Here is a pic http://lukekowalski.tripod.com/afbeelding008.jpg Luke, #...

250 GTE plug wires?
Has anyone swapped the 250 GTE plug wires recently? What should I get? Packard brand, what model number and what lengths? Apparently, one does not just buy a set with crimped ends (cap and rotor plug)....Instead, it is supposedly better to start with the raw plug wire material. Any secrets, are they...

A very small percentage of the population has the talent and the PATIENCE to do what you did. And even a smaller percent would decide to share the knowledge. A bona fide effort, indeed ! re: Alameda
It is indeed a fine event, and at least one 250 GTE will be there !
I have gone for the last 7 or 8 years with my Alfas, and once with a 308 GT4. Very low key, but lots of fine cars, including Italian motorcycles and last year, bicycles.

re: Manual
I do not believe that there is a manual. The best thing to do is to get the 250 GTE "Workbook" from the Registry keeper (see below). It contains all sorts of reference articles, a collection of parts drawings, tips, owner and magazine articles, as well as tuning and repair info. Far from comprehensi...
