Wheel/Tire Fitment 330 GT
Ruedi was good enough to list his research on the Borrani wheels fitted to various Ferrari models. There are 4 different wire wheels listed for the 330 GT. #42 RW 3801 15x6 1/2L 250GT 2+2, 250 GTO Post, e 330GT #32 RW 3812 15x7 330GT #32 RW 4010 15x7 330 ant #32 RW 4011 15x7 1/2 330 post I assume th...

Seat Belts:
Thanks Yale and Kerry: Just what I wanted to know. Now that you mention it, (I can't look right now), I think I remember the leather covered button. If it ever quits snowing in the PA mountains I have to cross to get the car home, I intend to put a pair of belts in as part of my winter tasks. Thanks...

Seat Belt:
What is the status of seat belts in a late 330? Were they optional, dealer installed, or what? Mine has only lap belts, and one over-the shoulder racing style harness installed by the previous owner so he could track the car. But it attaches to the floor, which seems less than optimal, unless forced...

Thanks: Your experience is reassuring - since I bought the 4000E on the basis of published specs. I have not driven the car yet with the tires, but I am going to pick it up this weekend, if the weather permits. A 300+ mile drive home should be a good shakedown cruise. It is worthy of note that liste...

Bonhams Auction 330 GT sale
Does anyone know what the results of the Bonhams Action were? There were 2 330GTs there. http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.sh/pubweb/publicSite.r?sContinent=EUR&screen=lotdetailsNoFlash&iSaleItemNo=2708646&iSaleNo=13164&sServer=http://images1.bonhams.com/&sPath=2005-12/01/7181351-1-1.jpg http://...

Warren: --- I currently have 205/70/15 XWX's, 26.4 dia., 7.9 width, and I do get some rubbing, on the side of the wheel well. Your wheel wells migh be different. My point is, if your going to spend up to a G, [spare], make sure you don't run into any problems. Good luck. Peter Gabriel 250 GTL 4419l...

Continental 205/65 tires
Hi Peter:
I looked at them - as you say, great price, and I have used Continentalswith satisfaction on my Turbo SAAB. But the 15" tire was nearly 1" smaller in both diameter and section width then the XWX or P4000E, and I wanted something closer.
Cheers

Hi Yale: Don't let that 225/65 size throw you - the actual published dimensions (Tire Rack) are closer to the 205/70 XWX than any other I could find. They have identical rolling diameter (for those worried about speedo error) and are only 0.3'' wider. The P4000 is rated as a Standard Touring All-Sea...

P4000 vs P4000e
The P4000 ( been around for a while) and the P4000e are different tires. Which do you have?

Tires for late 330GT
Pirelli P4000E (E for European) have just become available at the tire rack - and maybe other Pirelli sources. They are a summer performance tire, and they have a tire which almost exactly matches the original XWX tires for dimensions. (0.3 inches wider): diameter the same. I cannot tell about the p...

Cork Adams
Hi Tom:
Cork is still at that number - as are my wheels and knock-offs. It is in Quincy Illinois.
Great event - and people. I am really convinced that OLD-CAR PEOPLE are great.
Also - Are you going to continue your web site?
Cheers

Wives?
Do we have an estimate as to how many wives are coming along? At present, my wife expects to indulge in some well deserved R&R at whatever hotel we stay at, rather than "kick the tires" of a bunch of old cars. But in the evening, unless there is a general get-together, I will probably take her out t...
