Ah yes, Monterey - or Mecca as I like to call it. We have booked the usual room at the Casa Munras, so we can look down our noses at the Aston Martin club gathering below us. However - still not booked the flights as yet so will have to advise that later. If I'm there I will see you all at the party...

Who is the Australian head gasket supplier that you recently commented on? Hi Rudy, The guy is selling his gaskets to GT Parts, and Partsource, and I'd imagine priced competitively. Tom Hi, I don't think there is any "secret" thing about this. The gaskets are sent over to Bill and Geoff and as they...

Bill at GT car parts also can supply the head gaskets made here in Australia. I heard recently that a batch of 250 outside plug series are about to be made. Should be there in 3 or so months.

Regards,

Andrew.

Hi, Tom's a little younger than I, David is a little older. I have teenage children, and I am the same age as my GTE. - that makes me old dude. Tom is right when he said I was hiding out in Australian macho land. I feel the same way about selling, just wanted to get the party started. Besides, teasi...

I cannot believe that such a simple topic has brought out all the sappy, teary-eyed old men. Super Dave, really...Tom, take the money and run dude. Buy back another one during the next real-estate boom when everyone is pulling out of cars. For now get a GTC, or if you keep the America, get something...

Yeah baby - how about a 330 4H, bagged with 20" rims, Blower, Flamethrower exhaust, custom interior and pearl paint. Waddya tink homey.

When I bought my car in 1999, it was still a lot of money for a car in parts in pieces, Tom HA!, I saw the original Hemmings ad dude, busted... Look, I for one am not buying into this fantasy that 2+2 ferrari's are the fabulous investment that others seem to think. I bought our car in 1995, at what...

I'd like to hear David Booth's opinion on this. Simply because he is one person I know who owned a GTE through the nutty 88-91 period where cars went up and then down again in value. While I agree that fear is making me hold my car, like Tom, (fear of getting back in the game - that is), I dunno if ...

Hi Tom, yes as I mentioned the 128E thing was what I have read/been told etc over the years. The one thing that doesn't fit is the fact that all these cars seem to have the 128F engine. Even the later larger valve series all are called 128F, so I dunno where the 128E thing comes from. The Extenso re...

Thanks.

alright, so if (C) means Coupe 2+2 - what does the (E) mean in the GTE. I have heard it relates to the engine tipo, however, all the cars I have seen have a type F, 128 Motor.

Any ideas?

He's never going to retire.

We are the lucky ones who can tell stories about when he was really active in the trade........
