John:
If, by chance, any of their products are the right size, let me know. I may need some.

Hi John: Very strange. I just copied it from the URL address and pasted it into the message. But it doesn't work for me either. I do not trust my typing. But after looking at it, there is a period after "html" which I can't account for. Seems to work without it. Or Google AV Products, Inc. Cheers An...

Hi John:
You might try http://www.avproductsinc.com/bushing/mounts.html. if you know the size you need. I doubt that they have specific application data.

Looks like a standard bypass filter design - many prewar and postwar cars had them as options. The inlet (on the side) generally contained a special fitting to restrict flow so as not to divert too much oil to the filter which would affect system oil pressure. (This was needed when used as an option...

Re: fuel usage
I have wondered what it would take to run a vintage v12 on 100%ethanol, it might be expensive, but maybe not much different than today's gasoline prices, and ethanol could arguably be said to have a much lower carbon foorprint (yes, food to fuel, tractors and all that to be accounted for). I assume...

Kerry & Kare - Hopefully this will help you figure out what you need: Yes, just what I wanted. Thanks. It looks like the socket is the same as one for an old hi-lo sealed beam unit. So I'll take my bulb to an auto parts place to see if they still even sell sockets for sealed beams any more, or more...

Tom Yangs Spring Party
It is always speculative how a first time event will turn out. Now the results are in! It was, in my opinion, a singular accomplishment, both the conception and execution. It was well worth the 600 mile round trip. And among those who deserve kudos, add Micheal himself. Cheers to all participants an...

Re: Colors
the 330s were made by Pinifarina. Scagletti made the 275s. Scagletti was later bought out by Ferrari and that division now makes all of the bodies. Kerry: Thatt's what I thought. But my Rosso Rubino 106-R-12 is listed as a Scagletti color, but is not as a Pinninfarina color choice. Just wondering h...

Attendees at Spring Party
How many of you are planning to attend the spring party, and where would you stay, if not close enough for a day trip?

Tom: I agree we should - usually - not get too stressed out about the idle. I cannot get mine to idle perfectly at any setting, and it is fresh (now about 3500 miles) from a complete tune pursuant to the engine rebuild. And the best idle does not give the best/smoothest road performance, so guess wh...
