One last question guys: while I have her apart I am going to replace the thermostat, am thinking of putting in a 170F or 180F in, any suggestions on alternative manufacturers crosslisting numbers for a 330GT thermostat?

Radiators

My 330GT's radiator is leaking. Before I begin this project I thought it best to poll the group: any suggestions beyond the obvious and traditional steps for radiator pulling and repair for a Series II, by the way mine has both AC and power steering. Michael Bayer #9727

Is there a better choice among the various brands of filters for the 330? I wonder as they are hung on the Colombo engines "inverted" from the normal installation, if some types, without an internal standpipe might not back drain into the crankcase during extended periods of non operation. I need to change the tire on my spare. Given how the softness of the outer rim on a Borrani, I fear to have it done on the typical tire shop pneumatic machine as the clamps that hold the rim have many rather vicious points that will likely badly mar the back side of the rim.
