Thanks everyone, I have gone for the easier option for the moment; only run with one fan until the hot weather!

Unfortunately I cannot connect a battery conditioner because I do not have a power suply to my storage garage.

Borrani Knock Offs Thread Diameter

Can anyone tell me how to ascertain the correct diameter for a set of knockoffs for my Borranis. (without taking the wheels off to check) I have seen these variously refered to as 32 or 42 diameter, however I have a set that is too small for mine yet when I measure the approx thread dia it is closer...

Thanks everyone, Kenlowes successfully fitted, fans cutting in as per factory spec at 185F. It places quite a drain on the battery with both runing it looks like the alternator struggles to keep up. Does anyone know whether its possible to fit an uprated alternator with a bit more ooomph on tickover...

Replacement KenlowesFans Cut In Temp

Hi everyone Just need some advice on setting up some replacement fans. I have become a little tired of watching the temp needle climb in traffic (even in UK weather) so this weekend I am going to fit replacement Kenlowes. The 330 owners manual says the original fan is set to cut in at 84c (184F) and...

paint the whole car

I was going to try this one aswell, I am hoping their paint matcjing technology is not so good so I will be able to get the insurance to pay for a complete repaint. Similar to my father in law who got the whole house carpeted because of an iron burn downstairs......could not get a matching section s...

Thanks everyone

Thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone. I have been in touch with Maranellos and they have a few NOS panels left so I should be OK for those. The only item they donot seem to have is the front bumper, so I will be trying to source one of these. The good news is that the car is fully covere...

Anyone know of a source for 330GT series 2 wings/fender

It would be a great help if anyone knows of a source for a replacement drivers side wing (fender) for my 330gt series 1. An idiot in a Volvo 4x4 decided to come round a corner too fast and stove mine in, I will also be looking for the headlight rim too. Thought I would start the search before it get...

Still having alternator problems...any ideas

Hi all My saga of the overcharging alternator continues, story so far. After some sparks whilst fitting a radio the ammeter reading hovers around the zero but does show the affect of load (i.e flickers when turn signals on etc) and on start up flashes to mid range but then quickly settles down. I ch...

Thanks guys

I will get a new battery this weekend, car electrics are a mystery to me despite a degree in electronics. Is there an issue with fitting a battery when the amp rating is higher than the original specn.

any ideas what the original amp rating was ?

Battery Amperage - question

As one of those pre winter jobs I am going to get a new battery for the car.

I am not worried about the authentic look but just need a good 12v heavy duty, does anyone know what the max amperage battery I should be fitting.

My car is a late series one interim 330 gt.

thanks
