Just remembered that Tom Y was planning a trip to the UK for the Goodwood revival - or has he used up all his brownie points with the family? :D

That was a quick response! We'll make some enquiries re accomodation at the place suggested. Car hire will be the other big item. I guess it's 'uncool' to have a Pontiac/Buick/Chevy/Ford type thing, so we might have to look for something more interesting!

Cavallino Classic 2009

Kelly and I are starting to plan our visit to the 2009 event - a chance to escape the English winter weather - and wanted to get an idea from those more 'experienced' visitors about what to book/where to go/what to see etc etc. I realise that most of you will be swanning around Monterey at the momen...

Envious of all you guys! Kelly and I have landed in the UK now and getting ourselves organised gradually. The 365GT won't make it here until next year - we'll let it miss an English winter - although with how summer has been the last couple of days, it's hard to tell the difference! Not at all like ...

Hi Shaun and Tom - Kelly and I are awaiting our tickets in the post at the moment! Also got Carl Jones from Melbourne (who you met I think Tom?) coming as well! We need to have a tomyang.net UK party on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday night of revival! Any suggestions of a venue Shaun?

I look at it from the point of view that it's a small penalty to pay for the fact that Kelly and I are lucky enough to have a proper V12 Ferrari and somewhere along the line we have to pay for the chance we had to buy it 10 years ago. I only wish that the 365 wasn't so bloody slow to fill up! There ...

Steering Wheel and Turn Signals

If anyone else is struggling with aged switched! An update on the revival of the steering column switch for GianCarlo, our 365GT. It was in awful condition (wobbly stalks, indicators wouldn't self cancel, whole thing felt fragile & tatty). Unable to find a new switch, we sent the whole assembly for ...

Hi Seamus I guess you won't be at the Festival of Speed then! We will be based in the UK by then, so will make it to that and the Revival. 365GT won't make it until next year unfortunately, so I'll have to get something else Italian in the meantime! If anyone is attending the FoS, then post that in ...

Just for the serial number followers, I understand that the car now here is # 2435GT and it was a Terry Hoyle (UK) conversion. Note your records that it's now in the land downunder!

Hi Tom I assumed they would be allen headed screws as the long 'phillips' head ones were awkward to get a screwdriver onto and rather difficult to remove because of their length. One of the screws has a damaged head now - because it was done up so b....y tight - so I'll need to get something else to...

Can't help with engine mount changes sorry Mark -surely Zac or someone like that has been through the process already... My query is regarding the seat mount screws/bolts. Does anyone have a pic of what they should be like? I've just pulled the seats out of our car and it they don't seem right to be...

250GTE turns up downunder

We've had another V12 join the (admittedly thin) ranks of cars here in Western Australia! It's a 250GTE, but unfortunately it's now in the shape of a 250 Cal Spyder... Spanish registered & left hand drive, it's been bought by one of the local 'movers and shakers' in the local mining industry to go w...

Hello all, hope you are having a good Easter break. I'm using the time to tinker on the Alfa GTV and 365, and I've got to the point of removing the indicator/light/wiper switch. I've got the hub off, and disconnected the wiring from under the dash (via the connectors), but it appears that I need to ...
