Under the dash to the right of the center console. Also accessible and easier to see if you remove the glove box.

365 GTC brake calipers
What model/size brake calipers are on a 365GTC front/rear? I need to get rebuild kits.
Rutlands has them on special order, just wanted to see if there were other options.

For Crimpin 101 archive
In looking for electrics for my Honda s800 restoration, I found a site http://www.vintageconnections.com which sells stuff for Japanese restorations (I'm all about the J-Tin these days!), but there's some crossover with both Ferrari and Lamborghini when it comes to the style of terminals and termina...

More Radiator Factoids
After reading Tom's entry on the various radiator cores, I'm reminded of some of my own radiator experiences that I thought might be helpful to share. Radiator efficiency has much to do with the amount of surface area that the coolant runs through ("Duh!" I know, bear with me . . .). The simplest wa...

Re: Classic and Sports Car
And I just want to pat myself on the back for knowing the Mystery Car for October (I think it was). Being a J-Tin convert, I was apparently the only guy who knew it was a Hino.

Re: No need for that Shaughnessy bloke anymore
This tool would be super handy if it was cheap to make castings from the plastic prototype. I wish someone could get the cost of making a casting mold down to a few bucks. If the printer printed out a slightly enlarged inverse sand casting instead of a plastic replica, then it could go straight to t...

Re: Tire recs for Daytona
You basically won't find speed-rated 255/60r15s anywhere that look at all correct. Avon makes a 275/55 v-rated tire that I've been told works well.

Great to see a local source that I can drive to - always nice to be able to verify the rubber will work prior to buying it.

Re: Monetery Auctions
I tend to frequent most of them, so I'd offer you this advice, based on my own personal experiences: If you've never been to an auction, and you want to see only one, I would suggest going to Gooding, possibly on Saturday eve instead of the Sunday auction. In my view, they've really emerged as the t...

Re: Heater blower housing - SMITHS
You might try moss motors. There is a Casing for $160 you can buy which I'd bet works fine. $350 for the whole unit. I've found that the new British stuff works brilliantly, but perhaps doesn't look 100% exactly the same. In this case that's probably less of an issue because the part is entirely con...

I believe these first used, FIAMM, plastic chrome plated trumpet jam nut covers were used for a short period, maybe 1966 thru 1969. Anybody have a source for these covers? i need a pair. Craig I needed a set of these for the Miura I'm restoring as well, so I had 2 choices - refinish the ones I had ...

For all of you stragglers, it appears that there are plenty of hotel rooms available this year. Prices appear to be down 20% or so, which is to say that it is still outrageously expensive.

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
Bought mine from Bobileff, will get you p/n when it arrives. I've seen them for about the same money at Centerline Alfa and other Alfa shops online. These are 2-wire motors. http://bobileff.com/cpg/displayimage.php?pos=-129 I have not confirmed that this next one will also work, but I'll bet it does...
