Koll - I just got my guages back from Mike at DM Restoration (South Carolina) and they look incredible. Mike is the source Tom found for getting new lenses and plastic guage face plates created to original Ferrari spec's. I sent Mike all my guages and got the lenses, new etched face plates, and poli...

Indeed....the same. His shop has been in business 20 years and has the body shop contract for Lamborghini Dallas and Boardwalk Porsche. I believe they may also do body work for Ferrari Dallas. He's got a half a dozen clients with older Ferrari's (60's vintage) where he's done collision or restoratin...

I bought it from Fred Petroske at "Mostly British" in Chaumont, NY. I haven't looked at the body stamp (frankly, it never occured to me). Let me know if you guys know anyone who can use it (its red) and the hood is from my 330 America and has been bead blasted to metal (ready to prep/paint). It has ...

Extra 250GTE/330 America sheet metal
Guys - I've got an entire front clip from a series III ('63) 250GTE and a hood that I need to sell. I purchased them as spares for my restoration and didn't use them.
Call me for details and I can send pic's if anyone can use them.

Its now coming up on Christmas in Big D and my 330 America has officially been out of my hands and in restoration for 6 months. I told Tom I can't believe he's waited 4 years as I'm going nuts wanting it back. The interior is in NYC with Frank Segreto to be restored in January/February 2005 (leather...

Al - do you also provide Wilton II carpet for the interior? I've got a 330 America that's in restoration and Frank Segreto (East Coast Auto Trim) is doing my interior (same "Frank" that assisted Tom). I'm sending Frank a color sample of the paint this week so he/we can begin looking for a nice blue ...

Tom - thanks for the heads up....I continue to need a "330 America" badge to complete my car. I just won an auction for a near-perfect set of 1964 black Texas license plates to replace my current vanity plates (La Vita) for my car so I'm going 100% original on the beast. On a separate note, let me k...

John - I'm thinking about investing $35K into a 1970 Boss 302 (a car I've always wanted and puts one American muscle car in my stable). If you can sell the car to a good home, great -- as I need another 330 America like I need a hole in the head (and my wife's getting closer to giving me one). Howev...

Congrats on the Boxster
Luke - you did well and you will enjoy the car. Again, its not perfect (Porsche improved small idiosyncracies with plastic rattles, etc.) but a car Porsche considers 90% perfect a way ahead of its peers. You got a very good buy -- I would have jumped on the same deal.

$35K Car Search
Luke, I'll add my 2 cents as I've got (or have owned) several of the cars mentioned in the list provided by the other guys -- plus, I've got a fair amount of racing experience to know what cars hold up under performance driving conditions. The Maserati, 308 QV, and other "oddball" cars are nice if y...

William - after all you're right, we are talking about a 40 year old car -- and a Ferrari at that! Thus, oil leaking is part of the deal, although mine is very tight in terms of miniscule leaking (perhaps 2-3 drops in a week of high temperature driving). My point was that these cars are rare and eve...

330 America
William - after I posted my last post, I went to Sheehan's website and saw the car. Looks very clean from 10 feet away, although the piping on the seats was not original (too bad the restorer didn't stick to factory issue) and there seems to be a missing switch on the console and the cigarette light...
