Hi Mike - been a few years since we last had contact! Many names were copied from hand written lists; in some cases handwriting is very unclear + copies have faded and so there are many "best guesses" among listed names. After looking at quite a few such lists I dare to suggest that "Brodesca" might...

Grigio argento
Grigio Argento 20265A by Italver is the basic silver color used by ferrari at this time (towards mid 60's). I think "A" stands for acrylic paint, which were introduced around 1960 or so.

VM3015 is Connolly color code for blue leather (=pelle) commonly used by Ferrari in the 60's. Lusso chassis, gearbox and rear axle all used designat...

Partial explanation (+lot of rambling...)
In my understanding Enzo was neither involved in, nor much cared for politics, which may be one of the reasons why he was able to successfully run a business after the war. Having a "clean" background may also be the reason which enabled him to use of honory title "Il Commendatore", which according ...

Unleaded & valves
[quote="tyang"] >Hi Kare, >I'd be curoius to see if the roasted valves on that FIAT were directly >related to unleaded fuel. In this case I think I'm quite safe saying yes. Clear valve recession in all exhaust valves can - AFAIK - only occur with "old school" valve/seat material combination when the...
