Hi A.D.:
The switches you want are hard to find and if you find them they will be expensive. Try the usual suspects; Tom S. Dennis McCann, etc.
Cheers

Re: 365 GT 2+2
There's a guy that lives across the street from the shop that enjoys lifting weights (Arturo Giocometti). He has his garage set up with equipment and mirrors on the wall so he can admire his strength. I'll ask Art and his "lifting buddy" Pasquale (Pete) if they can help. Pete doesn't like it when hi...

Re: 365 GT 2+2
Thanks Timo, Tom and Richard: Your guidance helps to confirm the sequence and level of difficulty. I like to plan things out in my mind and on paper if necessary before doing a lot of wrenching. Richard mentioned the word "frustration" a few times. I don't enjoy being in the moment with that word. C...

Re: 365 GT 2+2
Hi Timo: Thanks for responding. I take no offense to your questions regarding skils and knowledge. The internet is full of opportunity for "puffing up a resume`" That being said, I do consider myself a pretty competent amtateur mechanic. I'v'e been maintaining my small fleet myself for some time. A ...

Re: 365 GT 2+2
ok, I'll be more specific: The way I see it, I can slide the differential back from the torque tube, then remove the torque tube, then slide the transmission back and of course support it on a rolling transmission jack. This method would also necessitate removing the center console inside the car. T...

365 GT 2+2
OK guys and gals: What is the best procedure for R/R a clutch assembly? Mine is running out of adjustment....
Thanks in advance.

My car has the headlight covers, they were in place when I took delivery.

very cool, what a contribution. I always thought this hardware would remain unobtanium.

Hi Cory:
Put me down for 5, I need one assembly for the spare.
Thanks

Jim: As one designer to another, drawings have been superior to arm waving and words since the advent of orthographic drawing techniques. Nevertheless, I enjoyed your soliloquy on valve train geometry. In my office I have a saying that my employees probably hate hearing: Looking is not the same as s...

Re: clutch
Thanks Richard, Bryan, Tom and Francois!
Looks like I need to recruit a body builder or two for help. Seems logical though that after going to all that trouble, the synchros and so forth should be looked at.
Cheers

Re: clutch
Thanks Bryan:
You provided a wealth of information. I was able to follow 90% of it and I'm sure the other 10% will be obvious. Unrelated, I believe I saw your former
"girlfriend" motoring around Carmel last month. She looked and sounded fantastic!
Cheers

Re: clutch
Thanks for the suggestion, my 3rd gear syncho. is a bit dodgy on the down shift. So are you saying that the trans needs to be pulled in oder to do the clutch? If so then that probably means removing the interior console and front seats.
