Yale - Dallas has got a couple good F-car repair options, including Lamborghini/Dallas as they stole a couple of Ferrari/Dallas' top mechanics -- including Mike Luongo (20+ years experience). Mike's going to set up my 330 America when I bring it up from the port of Houston tomorrow. However, Dallas ...

Ferrari Kick Panels
Disregard my last posting as I overlooked Tom Wilson's posting. However, I've given you guys the phone number and part number you need for ordering so it looks like we don't need to both Tom Wilson with aggregating our buying. What's weird is that Tom at Danchuk said he thought the height was 8.5", ...

Kick Panels Found
All - I spoke with Tom at Danchuk today and he says that Tom Wilson visited him a week ago and a deal has been negotiated where all of us (330 America, 250 GTE, etc.) owners can get the uncut aluminum sheets that Danchuk uses to create their 1957 Bel Air side panels. And now the best part -- a 9" wi...

Vincent/Yale, I think I may have mentioned this to you guys when I first joined this chat group in December, but the prices on the 250 GTE's are not as low overseas as everyone keeps saying they are. Seriously, check out www.ferraribuy.com and click on the non-US Ferrari ads. A good (older restorati...

330 Door Panel Kick Plates
Guys - way to go! It looks like a half a dozen of us guys need this stuff. My 330 America left Rotterdam today (long story why it was stuck in Europe all month) but it arrives into Houston on Valentine's Day weekend and I will have it at the Ferrari body shop that week to begin "freshening up" the t...

Door panel kick plate covers for 250 GTE
I'm going to be replacing the decorative steel kick plate covers on my 330 America in the next 60 days due to the prior owner cutting them out to install aftermarket speakers. With Tom's help, I've located a supplier who can provide uncut steel panels (originally for late '50's chevy) that will work...

What the heck....I'll add my $.02. Congrats Tom. I've got a 4 year old and 1 year old hence why a 2+2 was easier to sell to my wife than a GT Lusso (e.g. "where will the kids fit?") Great to see someone has already identified the right car seat, as I may pick up this one so I can indeed give the kid...

Guys - thanks for the input. I own a Porsche RS/Cup car that I race so I'm very familiar with the safety dating on the seat belts (my Sabelts actually expire this year and I've got Schroth harnesses to replace them). While that isn't the most "period correct" thing to see laying across the seats, it...

Their best cars are those that belong to their clients. This shop is really more of a maintenance shop for wealthy clients who own 275's, GTO's, etc. and who do race weekends. The shop is filled with these "museum" cars but I don't think many have been started in a long time -- kind like the Lepelti...

Bluecat - I'm simply trying to "line up" the piece parts but I'm not going to purchase anything until I receive the car and have my Ferrari body shop check it out. My thinking in potentially purchasing the sheet metal was to secure it while available, as I assume that this is not exactly a NAPA item...

Front end found!
Guys, A quick update - I found a front clip (Series III) from a NY source for $1,500. The seller is parting out 2 cars and says the metal is in very good condition. The price sounds reasonable and now all I need are the correct foglamps, trim rings, etc. as I'm hoping my Series II headlamps, etc. wi...

Lee,
Can you provide details (part numbers, spec's, etc.) & pricing for a set of correct foglamps, trim rings, etc. for a 250GTE Series III?
Thanks,
Steve

330 America purchase
Thanks. Its chassis 5061 (the car from the Gstaad auction). The car will travel to Rotterdam this week and then on the boat next week to Houston. I should be able to collect the car there and trailer it back to Dallas by mid-January. Its first going to our Ferrari body shop to see what work needs to...

Vincent - maybe you can forward the information to me on the Belgium car that is being parted out, as I travel to the UK, Netherlands and Germany every 3-4 months for business -- although with the current terror warnings, I'm probably going to hang out here in the US for the first part of 2004. I wo...
