Yes, I don't really understand that either. If one lobe is off
four degrees how is resetting that one going to affect all the other
cam lobes?

Re: Battery
I had a car shipped from Amsterdam to the USA but before doing so had the battery replaced. The replacement battery was the German made VARTA. Outstanding, typical German, superb quality this battery can start a Panzer tank in a Russian winter. I am disappointed with modern day batteries, they don't...

Re: Horn Detailing
John,
Are those the original screws or replacements?
They look great, but what will prevent them
from oxidizing right away? Beautiful job.

All screws of equal lenth? My thought being, they are to
'bottom out" at a certain point to resist over tightening.

Still sounds like ANGST to me. German word, by the way. When one resorts
to a foreign language, all cannot be well.
Anguish is the English version.

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
Tom,
I have found that just eliminating the antifreeze on certain motors
cures the leaks caused by the slippery qualities of the antifreeze.
Jaguar 3.4 and 3.8 motor freeze plugs are a great example.

Tom,
Would that Ceramic sealer work for head gasket leaks as well?
How does it actually "seal"?

The founder of Honda motors claimed that, "Success is comprised of 99% failure".
I'd say thet you are almost there, this can be cured, so do not give up just yet.

John,
I have to agree. The longer trumpet should be on top.
That is how they are on my GTE which I believe have not
been moved. Looks better too!
