I figure I will keep increasing the pressure in 5 lb increments until something happens. Just wanted to make sure I knew what was supposed to happen A grease gun works - but you can often use fluids other than grease. Kerosene, for example. Of course sometime you can't build up the pressure with a ...

Fixed the menu alignment problem in FireFox. Hopefully it is fixed in other browsers too, but I only can test in IE6, 7 and FireFox 2. Hi Kerry Still works with Opera - as did your first version. For those who do not know about Opera - it predated Mozilla/Firefox by a number of years as an alternat...

Based on my experience and various threads over in FerrariChat (mainly the 308 section), the quality of Optima batteries has suffered since they were bought out. I have an Optima battery that is now on its 6th year - when I go to storage I expect the car to start up, after sitting since October. Bu...

Re: Parts Cars
This is exactly why I am all against replicas. The parted out cars now turn into fakes which consume the hard to find parts, instead of providing them for the survivors. Best wishes, Kare Completely agree Kare: It is true in the low end production car collector market also. How many restorable 32 -...

Parts Cars
Hi Guys. All the old cars have the same problem, once replacement parts become unavailable. If used parts were not available, some cars would not get restored, Multimillion restorations will make any car from scratch. - most restorations do not have that resource. For each parts car which is sacrifi...

Warren, The average rainfall of Tucson, Az. is three times that of Las Vegas. I'd be willing to bet that that GTE body has minimal rust issues. Registration costs
Hi Guys: Hi GUys: I can afford the cost if I wanted to - but it is quite a contrast to the $75 basic registration fee for the 45th Early Ford V-8 (Grand National meet) which I am committed to attend. Ironically I might see more V-12 cars there than Toronto. (And it may be only a Ford meet, but there...

Art, After 45 years, many of these cars are fright pigs. I happen to like pigs that may have a glimmer of salvation. This may be one. Sitting in that climate, it may not be a rust bucket like so many others. Rudy van Daalen Wetters 1963 GTE s/n 4001 1966 330 GT s/n 8705 Don't be too sure on the rus...

Hi Guys: For what it is worth, my trunpets and the base are a silver hammertone. I have every reason to think that is original. So much of the car is. Alternatively, someone went to the trouble of stripping the paint from the inside of the horns to repaint them hammertone, Where the paint has peeled...

Tank Engines
Thanks David - I will look for it.
And speaking of tank engines - look at the Ford GAA V-8 stuffed into a Ford Mustang (TomY, notice what you could do).
