Looks nice but the description is pretty sparse on details, including service history (assume none) and mileage (who knows?).

Will this be the first GTE variant to come to market with the Ferrari Classiche certification?

Happy belated birthday from one Capricorn (Dec. 25, Christmas!) to another. Believe it or not, 40, then 50 and even 55 this past birthday wasn't so bad. Enjoy your job, your family, your friends, your hobbies, and of course your Ferrari. I am convinced that every hour spent with, in, or driving your...

That is an awesome video! What a great idea and what a great thing that Sandy was gracious enough to let you set it up.

I estimated her lap time as a 1:07, which is not bad for a vintage car of that size at Lime Rock.

I'm a big Victoria Bitter fan. I can't recall ever even seeing Foster's sold in Oz during my two trips there.

Hi Tom!

Glad you made the trip okay. Its a long way but I think that it is worth it especially if you are staying a while as you are.

Head up to Manley Beach if you want ot avoid the controversy. Beware though because you may see more than you bargained for!!

Hey Fest The first link that you posted did not work for me. The second one did but the fuel filler was in the normal location on the left rear quarter panel. I would be nterested in knowing the serial number of that car in Hawaii. The price at $32K is probably $10K too high for an auto. The last pi...

Tom at the Australian GP

Tom: The GP in Melbourne is very easy to attend. I went in 97 and had a blast. I was in Sydney on business the week before and flew down for the weekend. Because it was kind of short notice, I stayed about 45 minutes south of the city on the Mornington peninsula, which was a beautiful spot to be reg...

Back in the mid 70's outside of Boston I met a fellow member of the Alfa Owners of New England who had a very nice silver 250 GT SWB. We got to talking about it and I asked him how he got it. Apparently someone he knew got into a liquidity crunch and needed some money real fast. He asked Bob if he c...

TommyTommy:

That was absolutely hilarious! How much of the banter between you was scripted? IOW, was Dave's comment about your job as an "auto upholster" explaining your shirt an ad lib or scripted? If an ad lib, it was briliant.

Way to go!

I'm not sure that you have a problem. What does the oil temp get to? On my 400i, normal water temp is 90 and oil varies between 100-105 or so during the summer. I actually have the opposite problem in the winter, when on really cold days (say 20 F) my oil temp on the highway might drop down to 80. I...

Matt: Sorry to hear that your ride was interrupted, but at least it worked out okay. From your description, I would check that fuel pump first. Possible problems could be a blown fuse or loose wire in the circuit or, if the weather was very hot, vapor lock. Try to start the car in your garage now an...
