Hard to start Daytona
Actually, my header is slightly inaccurate. My Daytona is difficult to start if it's been sitting for a week or more. Under these circumstances, the car cranks and cranks and cranks and after about 50 (no exaggeration) stabs of the accelerator pedal, it will crank, fire up and then runs great therea...

Re: Tools for the toolkit
It is the nitpickers who care about things like stitch counts that turn me off to concerns about tools and bags. I think you would be best to have Richard send you pictures of his work, so you'll know what it is currently being offered. Also, I see that I'm a "yahoo" for having misspelled Yahoo in h...

Re: Tools for the toolkit
I believe this guy is the great guru of Ferrari tool bags. I've never entered a concourse competition, so I'm no judge nor expert on these bags. However, the bag he sent looked terrific. However, I'm not sure about its accuracy for the above stated reasons. I've never really cared about this stuff, ...

thanx TdF...i have sucha "socket: a big truck axle one with a 3/4 ratchet and welded 6" extension. when wedded to a long pipe as a " cheater", you must really apply duct tape to both the socket and the ears to prevent the socket from digging into the ears....no matter how you slice it, there's some ...

Re: 330 GTC PW swich
Had superior communications with Jim Simpson O,D,D parts....extremely knowledgeable and well organized (what would you expect from an engineer?) He knew the switch, ahemm, backwards and forwards. Sent readable diagrams for the best way to do this....no tiny schematics. More than fairly priced and fa...

Forgive my X-posting here, but is there a source to rebuild these? The springs in the unit are weak and so the switch wants to remain "on" and not return to the "neutral" position and thus burned up a motor. A good used one? thanx steve

see his latest blog...a neat intro into more "social media. Great history and run through of his 330 America now on YouTube.
His previous experience in AV quickly and clearly "shows" through. Fun to watch and hope to see more. Not bad Thespian skills either! s

Re: Brake Bleeding Trouble
Back in the summer and fall of '19 i had a helluva time bleeding the brakes on my GTC ...which I'd done easily many times before using a modestly powered medical vacuum setup called a Gomco. Proved it was the MC and sen the MC out and twice the return repairs also failed. About that time a master Fe...

Re: 330 GTC project
Tom, as you know, I'm one of those owners who likes to "jump into" some discussions. Why? Because I can't help myself. On the other hand, the site really thrives on the banter and might be more mundane and boring without it. I agree that 85% of the comments do not add knowledge to the auction, but t...
