Re: Handbrake shaft

I can't tell exactly where the coolant is leaking from, it's just dripping off the bottom of the water pump.

Handbrake shaft

My handbrake stopped "ratcheting" and locking into place recently. I took things apart, and it seems like the hollow shaft that runs from the release button down and carries the electrical wires has broken. Am I correct in assuming that this piece (#69524) is supposed to be a single piece, and the f...

Re: Coolant in oil?

Thanks everyone - great ideas. I'll start with the easiest/cheapest (seals) and go from there.

Coolant in oil?

My 330GT 2+2 has been sitting most of the winter (occasional short drives when weather permits). I keep a drip pan under it while parked, and have noticed that what was usually just oil leaking out of it has changed to what looks like a combo of oil and antifreeze. It does put out white smoke when i...

OK, good to hear. I'll assume mine is fine.

BTW - I fixed my cooling fan. Was unplugged at the fuse box. That was an easy one!

Thanks

On a 3-4 hr mountain drive in 80-90 degree weather this weekend, the needle moved up to 80-90 deg C range. Could that be correct?

The water temp gauge never moved over more than 1/3.

Great drive!

Thanks guys - I'll try all of the above. Since I posted my original question, I have developed a short in the circut that runs the power antenna, clock, horn, etc. Will start looking for the source of that, too. Any common issues there to start with? While on electrical stuff - do the cooling fans c...

Oil temperature gauge

Mine's dead, never moves. All other gauges work fine. Any ideas?

Thanks!

My old ones are combo box/grill/speaker. I'll probably just look for some that fit the existing hole and call it good for now.

Thanks!

Well, I'm stuck with holes on the sides below the quarter windows by each back seat where the old speakers were, so before I try and repair those, I think I'd like to just keep some speakers in there. Any thoughts as to what I should use?

thanks,
David

Speaker options

My 67 330 GT 2+2 had a stereo and speakers when I bought it. The speakers are pretty ugly - squared off with paint scratched. Any recs on what to replace them with? They are mounted on the sides by the back seats. Thanks.

330 allignment

Hi - how does one adjust the camber on a 330GT 2+2? Don't see any obvious adjustment points.

Thanks

OK, I have pics of my horns. The ends of the bases have plastic round pieces that are a tan color, the round metal piece that the plastic piece is attatched to is painted the same tan. No evidence of any other paint over or under the tan. Seems pretty original. If anyone would be so kind as to expla...

Can anyone tell me if the original exhaust clamps came with the black wrinkle finish, or were they bare metal?
