Would it be correct to assume that a 365 GTC/4 will cost roughly 50% more than a 365 GT 2+2 in running costs due to the side placement of the weber carbs and the complications that it causes to basic maintenance ?

Annual Running Costs 365 GTC/4 and 365 GT 2+2

What should you plan to budget for annual running cost for either a 365 GTC/4 or a 365 GT 2+2 ? The base assumption is that the car is in good condition and would not need any major work other than standard maintenance. Thanks :D

Maybe a course in meditation should be included with the purchase of any Italian Maranello product.

I don't know anything about that specific car, but if you buy it you will have the same collection I have! You probably already know this, but Raab says it was built for "Limarilli" in Italy, #313. I'd probably look at it-- Queen prices have been going up lately. And they are pretty rugged cars as ...

FChat, Ferrari Forum, and a few others got hit by this hacker. All had to be pulled down and upgraded.

Oldtimer Garage in Switzerland has 2 for sale currently. You might also want to check with Bonhams to see if any will be included in the December Gstaad auction.

Re: Leather cleaner and cleaning technique

I'm looking for tips on cleaning old leather. I'm using the Lexol leather cleaner and following the directions, but the dirt seems pretty stubborn. The leather itself is still robust so it's not cracked, just dirty. Am I just not rubbing hard enough? Do I need to attack it repeatedly over a number ...

Re: Modified ? 365 GT

I agree with many of the cautions mentioned here. Nonetheless, I have sent to them for more information -- as I am still looking for a decent 365 to drive. I'd love the $82,000 one at Autosport Designs, but cannot afford it. I need to find a car in the $50,000-$low60,000 range. Questions for anyone...

Absolutely, I am not going to touch it. The old rule number one, if you have questions and there are no answers walk away quickly. This would seem to apply perfectly to this case.

Per bluecat49's comments, I have seen a couple of 365 GT 2+2's emerge out of barns/garages in France in the last year. In both cases the cars had been left sitting since the mid 1980's. In one case, the elderly owner was asking for Euro 25,000 but the car looked like it needed about twice that to ge...
