Partsource has filters (air, oil and fuel). See his mention in Ferrari Suppliers section of this site.

Concerning paint colors: Though perhaps not common, a wealthy buyer could order custom colors (and, other details, I suppose). Thus "correct" colors become more problematic. IMHO, the quality of the paint work should be judged, but not the color. My experience at shows is that the judges are consist...

Tar Top Battery

Dear Tom, I saw your latest Restoration Diary entry concerning your tar top battery. Here's my experience with these batteries: They are antiquated in design and performance. People use them because they are period correct/look better in the vintage setting of the engine compartment. However, I have...

As I mentioned in a previous thread, placing a magnesium sacrificial anode in the radiator fill spout should protect the sysem, including brass, aluminum and iron.

JimB,
So, let me get this straight: You use Bosch W7DC plugs with resistor wire and electronic ignition in your 209 Engine? What would you recommend if resistor wire were not used?
Thanks,
Jim

Excuse me, but...
The 250 GTO does not have a transaxle. I refer you to a picture of its engine and transmissionon p. 103 of Fitzerald's, Merritt's & Thompson's reference, Ferrari, The Sports and Gran Turismo Cars. I believe the first transaxles were on the 275 models.
