Thanks to all for a truly memorable day... I have always considered Ferraris to be hopelessly out of reach. Tom and company have opened my mind to the idea that maybe it’s just a very large stretch. Life is short, great cars make me happy, I’m going for it. Jeff Calhoun Future Owner Jeff: Be carefu...

Those are nice. The 456 looks strangely out of place, though.

Very cool, Tom...but somehow I'm not surprised.

You've been very self-deprecating on the board here when you descibe the quality of work that went into your car; anyone who's followed your progress over a few years knows the real truth.

I had to send repro Cheneys back to ReOrig in mid-2006 because the threads stripped when tightening one of them down. By contrast, original Cheneys will take an apparently near-unlimited amount of torque. This is not meant to badmouth ReOrig...I've bought plenty of good parts from them, with excelle...

The latest on #5409: Yesterday, my car went to Stuart's P&B here in Dallas for a comprehensive evaluation for insurance; that will take a week or so. They will then return it to me, and it will stay in my garage until all needed components for repairs have been sourced and obtained, then it will go ...

william, Art:

I've found xclent pics and a very recent post-restoration video on McQueen's Lusso. Absolutely outstanding car but the color is not the way I want to go.

Ian: I've got JonBrent's website bookmarked, thanks.

My car is Marrone It. Dark red I love it very classy color. I originally thought it was a version of rosso rubino, I was wrong.
William, any way I could see a pic of your car, and is the color an original Ferrari color of the period?

Best regards

Scott, Take a look at Yale's car it's an S1 with a very similar color scheme to Mr. Letterman's Superamerica. Regards, Art S. I've always liked the look of Yale's car, and that's the direction I'm going at present. Also have thought about rosso rubino, but examples I've found online are wildly vari...

Hi Scott, Sorry to hear about your accident. I can probably get you samples of Dave's color for you from the person who painted the car. Francois recently had a Superfast painted by another shop with a similar color that is very close to that hue, and is actually a modern BMW color. The color of th...

Wayne,

Thank you very much! Great photo, just what I need to visualize the color on my car.

Everyone: next piece of info needed is the original name and number designation for this color. Would be very grateful for help with that.

Thanks,

Scott
