They look close enough to me, but in the spirit of full disclosure, I made the Lucas fans run right and adjusted them for optimum air flow, however if I was to do it over I would instal the new and super efficient fans, relegate the Lucas sets to the spares box. I would buy the max CFM at a 2X amper...

It looks just like the old one but with more fins per inch and, I have never been called for it in any FCA judging (two platnums and one tied for first platnum) further, I have never even seen a point off for the modern replacement electric fans. With the 5 tubes its a tiny fraction thicker in the b...

A different view
I respectfully disagree with Tom on this, once these cars are sorted out and driven regularly, they are as reliable as any. There is far less to go wrong than a modern car stuffed with electronics. Example: I have a 5 year old E320 Mercedes that is stuffed with gadgets, failing at the rate of $1500 ...

GTC/4 Survivors
Guys: Several times on this link the number of 330GT survivors has been discussed, as I recall there is a general consensus that of the 474 produced 2 headlight cars, about 225 survive. What is the view on how many of the 500 produced C4s survive? Michael Bayer 330Gt #9727
