Re: Removing Daytona wheel nuts

I have a removal tool which came with a car. It is an gloss black painted octagonal socket with a short handle of about 1 ft, so you need a VBFH. Why they didn't supply it with a 3 ft handle who knows. Reduce weight???

Tom, will you be using those tips any time soon???? Hope you will. Take a sleeping bag down to Oceanside so you can move things along.

Re: A Solution for Tom Kizer; 365 GT/4 18559

Thanks Tom. Note the bonnet (hood) bulges are now gone. David didn't like the look so made shortened trumpets that could fit under a flat hood that he made out of the roof of an XJ Jag !!!!! David is a true renaissance man.

Re: A Solution for Tom Kizer; 365 GT/4 18559

Cool car Tom. I like it and it probably recycled a GTE body that was thrown away after a GTO FAKE was made from the internals. This is a 365GT4 engine in a 365GT4 chassis with custom body. Everything hand made just like back in the 50s in Italy at PF etc. The engine has a custom intake with DOWNDRAF...

Re: Mixed Feelings

The Grimeys works for me; brilliant, in fact. Maybe Tom Y or Zac have a burnt piston I would be happy to mount on a wood base w/ a yearly plaque designating the "winner." Bryan I think a small piston with attached con rod tack welded to an adjustable wrench (similar to the commie hammer and sickle)...

Re: Who is going to Radcliffe?

Well done guys. These meets are a major reason why I like these old bangers. The camaraderie is great and the cars are pretty neat too. Is there some good driving roads around Radcliff? If there is you might organise a drive the day before. Similar to what you guys did with Zac around Oceanside. Do ...

Around $1300. This gets them sandblasted, repainted, new bushings, new original decals, new seals, re-gassed and dyno tested. Basically as good as they were originally as I do not modify the internals at all. I will let people know when I decide to make this happen.

Re: self leveling rear suspension in 365's

A few owners have contacted me regarding rebuilding these load levellers. There might be a possibility that I will go to San Francisco Aug/Sept next year. One of the San Fran C4 owners can get me access to a suitable workshop, which means I could rebuild levellers whilst I am in the fair city of San...

Everything is OK all the way from Australia. Maybe a virus? There is a website http://www.solutioninc.com/ Seems a legit site about internet gateways. Maybe your work has that software as some type of internet access gateway??

Mark D had a great photo of his car with his daughter, wife and PILES of luggage spread out on the driveway after a big trip. It is a great photo that illustrates what a great GT cars these are. Maybe he can post it again.

Re: self leveling rear suspension in 365's

Cory From your post it seems you are looking to purchase a 365 and want to know about levellers. Firstly levellers are about the last thing you should worry about. Engine, drive train, interior, body rust etc etc etc are much more important considerations. They can be VERY expensive to fix. Now onto...

Re: Compatible parts for early ferrari's

Just a general big thanks to Tom Y for having this website. The amount of knowledge on these old bangers is staggering but I do enjoy the humour of the members as well. Cornelis, Kare, 2 x Mark (Seattle and The Boonies), Bryan, Michael B etc etc are such funny guys. Both funny ha ha and funny percul...
