Hi Art:
I knew you were kidding - I just used it as an excuse to lobby for original cars. But I gave some brief consideration to bringing the stablemate of the 330 (a '47 Ford convertible).
Cheers

Brake Pedal Pressure?
Hi Yale and Matt.
I presume you are comparing pressure needed to stop. In my experience, changing from one type of brake pad to another on my car made quite a difference. Maybe that is the major issue.
Cheers

Hi Art: It is too complete and original - just a middle aged coupe in condition way too good to restore. A valve seat came loose - and I bit the bullet to do the entire engine. After all, a 12 cylinder Ferrari has cashet, an 11 cylinder Ferrari does not. And while in the shop the drive train and sus...

Hi Guys: Can I have an invite even if my 330 is still in the shop? I was told it would be ready before snowfall - but with the engine yet to be dynoed (is that a reasonable verb?) and the wheels still out for rebuild, I doubt it, unless snowfall is unusually late in PA. Don't know any of you persona...

Replacement for XWX Tires 33GT 2HL
Don't think these tires have been mentioned before as a replacement for the 205/70 VR15 Michelin XWX Pirelli P4000E 225/65WR15 on 6.5 inch wide rims they are 9" wide, 26.5' Diameter (Summer Hi Performance tires.) According to the data I have, the original XWX were 8.7"wide, 26.5 diameter on the same...

Poll on age of ownership.(of a Ferrari)
I did not mean to put down the poll - I like it, or I wouldn't have voted in it. I kind of disagree on one point - it is scientific within the limits of its intent. The predominant age group (old!) seen at shows is just as striking in my Ford V-8 club ('32-'53), and the Antique car shows. But I susp...

Survey Interpretation:
As one of your "old curmudgeons" - age 74 I will participate some here. With 97 Respondents you have a good start, but too many variables are involved to tune the interpretation too fine, not the least of which is that it was inferred, but not specified, that the poll was about Ferrari owners. Or wa...

Lord, it's beginning to look like I'm the grand OLD man! Don't know about that - your profile says you are still working. And (TYang) some (not enough) of us 3/4 century old geezers also use computers. I was bit put out when a young girl (freshman in college) I was playing tennis with was totally a...

Carpet Availability:
Hi Tom: I may have to go that route. I was hoping someone was making or had made one - and if so whether I could get one from the pre-existing pattern. (of course odds were long, but one can always hope - my wife gets a powerball ticket when it gets high enough too). I haven't seen a good drivers si...

Carpet availability. (drivers side only)
330 GT series II (2 Headlight) #10069
Sorry about that: Too many assumptions on my part. And by the way, what are the 4 different series IIs you can think of.
Cheers and Thanks

Carpet Availability?
My (largely original) Series 2 is in need of a drivers side carpet. The passenger side and rear carpets are way too good to replace. but the drivers side had been discarded when I bought it, replaced by a "Homemade" red substitute. Does anyone make a good replacement? I want to keep the other 3 carp...

Comparison Tests.
Yes, the test was silly - a Nascar-ized Pontiac vs a stock sports car. And yet, the Ferrari looked very good (I would say won), when the now obsolete references to the price differential are factored out. The price of muscle cars these days suggests that our Ferrari GTs, in a head to head comparison...

SCG Article
Hi : I think the reference to O/D was a mistake - other parts of the text appear to have it right. As far as 0 - 60 times are concerned - there was a track comparison between Pontiac 2+2 vs Ferrari 2+2. If memory serves me right, I think the Ferrari turned a mid 6 sec time, but limited by excessive ...

Police Car at Goodwood Revival.
HI Guys
There were1 (or 2?) police cars at Goodwood. I saw one in the Paddock area - took a couple of pictures, and later one in the parking lot. I have no Idea if they were the same car, just in two different locations.
Does anyone have a quick summary of the history?
Cheers
