Oh, good God, don't even get me started. I've had my 330 for three years now and have only driven it once - home from the semi trailer it was delivered in. I haven't added all the receipts yet, and frankly, I'm not going to. The number will be far larger than anything my brain can conjure. And, I am...

There's no reason why they would discolor - they are not anodized. You should be able to use any high quality polish. Give Wizard a try. The stuff comes in what looks like a metal bandaid box - it is a permeated material you rip off and use as is. (smells good too) It is, BY FAR, the best polish I h...

A spare body for Tom or Luke
With the exception of the surface rust, it actually doesn't look too bad.

Luke- in regards to the Quail - there was a category specifically for Ferrari GT cars. There was even a very nice example of a 66 330GT. This event is definitely geared to older cars. The ONLY new cars you will see are in the "Supercar" category. Again, this is an invitation only event. Since our 33...

According to the Quail organizers, there will be a group dedicated to vintage Ferraris this year. The theme is the Carrera Panamericana. I have shown my AC Bristol race car there the past two years, and will have a couple of my racing motorcycles there this year. It really is a nice event and worth ...

Erik - I had the original paint codes from Ferrari, but we were not able to find a match. The photos on my site appear a little darker than the color actually is, but not much. We found virgin original paint on the fender brackets behind the headlights (and some on the inside of the doors). Then it ...

I completely rebushed my 330 a couple years ago. However, I turned my bushings out of delrin, not teflon. Delrin is a commonly used material in race car bushings. I simply bought a length of 2" round and turned it down on a lathe. I bought a sheet of 3/16" and cut the outer washers from that. But, a...

I was unable to secure a heritage certificate from Ferrari because the numbers on my differential were unreadable. I went back and forth with them several times, but to no avail. However, Ferrari was kind enough to supply the original paint color when I registered on the Ferrari Owners site. This co...

The trick is using a solvent that will not attack the paint. Acetone is fairly benign and although lacquer thinner would make quick work of the glue, it will eat your paint as well. Another alternative is Bestine solvent. This is typically used to thin rubber cement, but I use it for applications li...

Jon, The POR stripper should be fine. To be honest, I can't remember the exact brand I used - but got it from my local bodyshop supplier. It is caustic sutff to say the least. You must be EXTREMELY careful of crevices and other hidden areas. The stripper must be completely removed and neutralized or...
