Re: PH 2815 Oil Filters, good deed for the day

Dyke,

Thanks.

Tiger, tiger burning bright
In the forrest of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

So I'll go with the Baldwin.

Re: PH 2815 Oil Filters, good deed for the day

Do they work on 330GT ?

I have been using a Baldwin filter B253.

I also use this filter for a 308QV.

Re: Intro from a new member...

Welcome! You should look around Kerry Chesbro's site http://www.330gt.com/ You can poke around there and find out a lot of interesting things. If you scroll down the Registry listing, you can find cars for sale. After clicking on this, you can then click on the sellers web site and/or the serial num...

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump Repair Questions

Do not use the silver check valves. Even if you figure out how to install them in a fuel pump, they don't work! There's a new rebuild kit I've used that has check valves that look exactly like the original valves. I've had good results with that one. Also look closely at the seating surfaces of the...

OK.

And where can you find the ribbed hose at solar system prices?

Re: Removing knock off wheels

"I tried the 3/4" air impact wrench but, it's heavy and a few cycles of "ratta tat tat" and no movement scared me, so I took it back to Harbor Freight. I now use a LONG pry bar, but one of the key things that helps, and that is to have a helper (my wife has been most gracious) hold the brakes firmly...

Re: Removing knock off wheels

I certainly would not try to remove the spinors with the car on a jack or a jack stand. If you have the car on a "drive in" left there is no difference between the car on the lift or on the ground. Sometimes with all the wheels on the lift it is nice to be able to raise it so that you reduce the tim...

Re: Where the 330 GT cars are now

In the contiguous states
Oklahoma, New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota,
there are 2 330GT.

Where else in the US can can you increase the number of 330GTs by a factor of two.

330 GT Cabin Blower Motor

In searching the web, I found that Tom had discovered a Spal replacement for the Smiths blower for fresh cabin air.

Tom, could you post what this replacement is exactly? How strong was it --- i.e. did it make a noticeable wind in the cabin?

Anyone else have any suggestions?

I you use the right Krylon paint, you don't have to do anything but paint.

Re: Inexpensive inspection camera (borescope)

Kerry was his usual gracious self. He bought one at his Costco and mailed it to me. (All I had to do was pay.) Harbor Freight now has two models of their Inspection Cameras: more expensive higher resolution, less expensive less resolution. My old one looks like their cheaper version but the item num...

Re: 330 trunk carpet/material

About twelve years ago my trunk carpet was not warn but the black had faded. So I spray painted it. Rattle can black. Has looked perfect ever since. In fact, I sprayed every surface in the trunk with the same paint except that I did mask off the car color decal. Ask Kerry if you don't believe me.

Re: Inexpensive inspection camera (borescope)

I have had a Harbor Freight one for some time.

I find the cable to be very stiff, and so do not use it very much.
