lots of engine heat coming into car
No matter how I set the controls there's a lot of engine heat coming into the car. Where exactly does fresh air come from that is supposed to come into the front seat area? And does a fair amount come in if working properly? One thing that occurred to me is that might cause this is that my car does ...

how much noise
With my new hearing aids I'm discovering that my rear end makes a constant whining noise when under load. Let off the accelerator and the noise pretty much goes away. Reminds me of straight cut gears, but not as loud. So do rear ends in 330 GT's typically make some noise at highway speed?

Re: Battery size 330 GT
Is the positive post towards the front or rear of the car. My current battery has the post towards the rear.

Re: bleeding brakes
1967 330 GT 2+2 I've looked everywhere on the back brake drum for a bleed screw.
Thanks for the directions.

Re: tail lights
Thanks Kerry. I have the Series 2 fuse setup with 16 fuses. Are the stop lights and the tail lights the same? Both tail lights (these are the ones that come on at night when the headlights are on) are out, but the brake lights work after a fashion, meaning they come on but when you the brake pedal g...

Which fuse controls the tail lights? Is it the same on that controls the parking, reverse, engine, panel and fog?

Re: dash lights?
How does one get "bright" dash lights. Even if I connect directly to the battery voltage, they are pretty dim. Higher wattage bulbs are not available, to my knowledge. I have done everything obvious, starting with by-passing the rheostat. Cheers Warren Not sure about that one. Perhaps try new bulbs.

I have heat!
I got a diaphragm from GT Carparts, put it in and now I'm back in business. I also bought diaphragms for the small shutoff valves.
Thanks to all who helped.

Re: heater
So that's what it look like! Thank you, thank you. I'm going to rebuild the heater control and keep my fingers crossed. It turns out that even though both the inlet and outlet sides of the shutoff valve where hot nothing was going through them as they were plugged as well. So I'll rebuild them as we...
