Re: Yale's 330 GT as a BBR model

Yale,

Maybe Tom S. can get you a replacement pumpkin interior for it...

Regards,

Art S.

PS. Hey, at least they made a model of yours and it hasn't sat in the shop for a year...

Re: My 330 GT Engine To Be Rebuilt

Hi Dan, I have not chimed in for a while but in checking your thread I realised that I may have something to add. If I recall, the radio I have in my car is a Frankfurt, it is quite neat as it is (at least mine is) half transistor and half tube! So it comes on slowly and has that tube radio quality ...

Re: Forum Software Upgrade

I thought I would try out the avitar section by using the image that some consider degrading but which I enjoy, I'll see if the image upload thing works as well:

5409. The guy in TX that bought it at the insurance auction (with salvage title) sold it at a loss, probobly under $50K (I almost bought it but the price did not drop enough for me) to the salvage yard in CA. Just like the guy in TX, they thought they could make a killing on it. The car was rust fre...

Tom, This is one case where I can truly sympathize and relate! At least you know that the rest of your engine is fine and the rest of the car is beautifully restored! Your dilemma reminds me of my last conversation with Francois (which took place before the problem with your valve seat occurred). In...

Tom, Looks like you put on a great party as usual! I'm sorry I couldn't make it but I had family commitments and, since my attendance wouldn't add to the Ferrari count, I couldn't talk my way out of them... Hopefully you and Francois will have my car back together by spring so that I can have an exc...

Thanks Yale! Kerry, Neat stuff! A couple of corrections and additions: 1st picture after the avacado tree is a burned out 400. Next two pictures are a 365GT/4 2+2 (precurser to 400) which shared the engine and tranny with the 365GTC/4, which probobly explains where the egine and tranny went. Behind ...

Financially, it is cheaper to buy a done car. Tom S. breaks these up for parts, so he may give you a finders fee if you are interested. I'd be interested in a project like this but the unexpected engine rebuild on my present car is still sucking my wallet dry. By the way, I'm pretty sure the car in ...

The only real effect of the power sterring is to ease the effort at low speed. Warren's car has P/S and has a similar feel to my car (no P/S) except when slow.

Generally, that would mean that either you don't have power steering or it is not working.

My car has very similar symptoms as it does not have power steering.
