Also there appears to be an adjustment knob that doesn't have an effect on the operation. Any info on how that should be adjusted? And to the other unanswered question...When I place my finger over the hole, it does seem like it is sucking my finger towards the hole as if it is an air intake as you ...

The horns have never worked since I have owned the car, but the compressor makes noise as if it is trying to work. I put several drops of oil in the oiling hole and it began to drool out of a hole on the side of the compressor below the ground wire. Not the power wire as I had originally stated. I t...

Question-Horn Compressor

My horns do not work, but I can hear the compressor umphing when power is given to it. Additionally oil is coming out of a hole on the side of the compressor just below the power wire when given power. Is that hole suppose to be plugged? If so, with what? I tried putting my figure over it and it did...

My question surrounds the removal of both glasses as my car was painted 8 years ago with the glasses in place. Now the paint edge lines at the glasses are beginning to deteriorate showing a definite and expanding paint edge line(s). I'm being told to be very careful as the glasses can and will break...

My oil temp gauge takes a looooooooooong time before the needle moves. Typically this was the same with my vintage race car. The oil takes much longer to get up to temperature in comparison to the water temp gauge.

Greg, How about just trying to steam clean it first? May save a lot of time and money. Perhaps you can trace where leaks are coming from, adding to the mess. Rudy van Daalen Wetters 1963 GTE s/n 4001 1966 330 GT s/n 8705 I may try that first, although I really don't have any leaks currently. FYI: T...

Hi GS, First of all, add to your signature what year and series your car is, so we don't have to scroll up to see what car you need help with. My memory is not that good! As far as your pump is concerned. You made doubly sure you don't have voltage to the pump? There's a lot of grease and dirt back...

Okay, I found the problem. The connection behind the A switch was bad. Repaired it and it started right up. Thanks to everyone who helped me thru this. Called Parker Hall on Friday. What a nice guy. He is sending me his catalog. Thanks for the referral Kerry. I still don't see where the washer bag s...

Okay, the test light shows that I am NOT getting any power to the electric fuel pump. I believe it was andrew who stated the ignition switch maybe creating this problem and to check the contacts at the ignition switch. Can someone give me more detailed information on this? I'm thinking that it would...

Do #1, using a color you like that was one of the available colors when the car was made. Now, if you like the original color, I would use that. +1 My 330 was originally silver and then it was changed to red and then back again to the original silver. Interestingly enough, if the car had been origi...

I'd love to own a Lusso but that car is well beyond my means. They are absolutely beautiful. I am really tempted to pull the drivetrain out of my 330 GT to detail the undercarraige. The amount of grease and grime under there is staggering, although it may have help preserve the car from rust over th...

I tried to check out the one in the bay area. The ad states it is in Highland Park, 30 minutes from me, but a bay area phone number. I sent the guy 3 emails for info, and he responded with none of the info I requested. He finally gave his phone number which he also never answered after 3 more calls....

Okay, here's the deal: I had the car transported from Florida to my home in So Cal. I had to meet the transporter down on a main street because I live in the hills and it would be next to impossible for the transporter to manuever his way around mt neighborhood. When I met the transporter, the car w...
