Bluecat 49, To get Rotary try typing in "www.rotarylifts" and it should take you to SAR automotive - Rotary lifts. Don't use .com or .net in the address. The website isn't the greatest but I would order their brochure from the website to get more detail and better pictures. Rotary is quite popular h...

Bluecat 49, I built a new garage for my cars and am considering a lift as well. I am looking at a lift made by Rotary which is a two post design with asymetric arms. This way I can still open the car doors and also remove the wheels to work on the brakes and suspension if need be. Rotary is a good p...

Bluecat 49,

It is almost as if they ignore the instructions on purpose I find. It scares me to leave anything with anybody these days.

Bryan, My brother's car is a 1970 with s/n 13981. It is silver with a black interior and is in quite nice condition. He bought it about a little over a year ago here in Los Angeles. In fact, we both bought our Ferraris within two weeks of each other having convinced ourselves that life is too short ...

Michael,

Thanks for the information on the MSDs and the related web site. Definetly worth investigating for my GTE. The points outliving the owners
worries me, though!

Regards,

Bryan P,

Thanks for the info on David Carte's shop but I am in sunny California.
My brother has a 365 2+2 and I the GTE, so we thought it nice to have our own distributor machine. They are not cheap, to say the least.

Michael, Good point on the advance curves matching on both distributors. I had not paid heed to that as closely as I now realize how important that is! Tell me more about MSDs and fitting it to a GTE if you could. I love originality but perhaps it is wise to be practical sometimes. Rudy van Daalen W...

Maser Quatroporte is my vote. I see a pair of door handles on the right.
The headlights are a major clue.

I purchased some dollys from Griotts Garage and they are excellent. No problems still work great and used many times over.

Mark Saunders was very informative regarding the distributor machines. He noted that many of the machines he receives are reading incorrectly and the dwell could be way off. These machines need to be calibrated with a preset test distributor which he has. The last of the distributor machines were ma...
