Paul,

My Lusso is pretty original and it has 1-6 on both caps. The numbers are in the spinning order of the rotor, not the firing order.

It is seems absurd. What does it tell us? Can anyone explain?

Enzo,

Sorry, I didn't get your question until Sunday evening. The Silverado concours was on Mare Island today. It is usually in early June.

I am taking my 250 GT to the Silverado show. Stop by and say hello. This is kind of a nice gathering in a pleasant setting.

Ferrari engines were designed to run hard for long periods of time, as is the case with European endurance races. So, a road car should at least cruise across a state or two without any problems. But, remeber when the factory cars ran those harsh long distance races, the cars were maintained fastidi...

Matt, Valve adjustment is not a big deal but taking things off and puting them back on is. Going by the Apen manual should be enough. Watch out for the typos. Try not to turn the engine over with the starter, instead use the nut at the front end of the crankshaft. If the car's crankshaft is not expo...

Black Oxiding

Has anyone tried the black oxiding kits offered by various suppliers like Eastwood? Any comments.

Spark Plug Caps

What kind of spark plug caps do you use on the 60's cars?

I have been using the VW bakalite caps. They look the part, but they have a 1k-ohm resistor inside. I am looking for something vintage looking but without the resistor. Any suggestions?

Paul,

The Daytona looks good as ever. It is one of the nicest cars, let alone Daytonas, I've seen.

Incidentally, I'm not so sure you're going to be satisfied with a Lusso, as after driving a Daytona the Lusso will seem as quick as a rusty bicycle.

The photo used for 250 Europa is incorrect. The photo used is that of a 250 GT Europa (a special one at that). The PF Coupes come in two series, Series I with drum brakes and inside plug engines and Series II with disc brakes and outside plug engines. As to the numbers, I will have to look up. Nice ...

Thanks, Chris. I suppose this Gortex material comes in different thicknesses and can be ordered through a competent parts supplier.

Roger,

Could you tell me how many fasteners are used for holding the dash in place and their locations? What needs to come out first before the dash comes out? Thanks.
