I believe gold cadmium plated. Gold cad has a slightly shiny finish, but dulls with age. It wasn't polished before it was plated, so think of it as bare steel that was plated.

The GTCs have a relay that clicks on when the ignition switch is in key-on position. Try to find that relay to see what it's drawing at that junction.

I'll keep an eye out for these two pieces. The locknut can always be fabricated and chrome plated if you really get into a bind, but the gas cap lock is tough one to find.

Hi Terry, You may be able to remove the back side of the switch to clean the contacts. It's going to take some contortions to stick your head back there to remove the two bolts that hold the back side of the switch. You'll have to disconnect the wires first.
