FWIW I replaced by "red" regulator with an aftermarket Transpo regulator. I'll eventually get the red one rebuilt, but for now, I no longer get the "jumpy ammeter". I used an IB305:

Re: 330gt 2+2 Console
Folks, I need a little help with my center console and this seems as good a thread as any. I feel a bit stupid, but I can't remember how to remove the bloody thing. I had the interior out of my car about 14 years ago, but I have NO recollection of how to get the transmission console out. I have remo...

I finally mounted retractable 3 point belts in the back
Well, I was the original poster for this thread. After reading the comments regarding 2 point vs 3 point belts, I finally decided to install retractable 3 point belts - I figure the kids safety is more important than perfect period correctness. I worked with Boston Sports car to figure out how to do...

floor pan
Tom, The floor pan under the rear seats is single layer. But if you are replacing it, then I am sure you could weld in some sort of reinforced threaded anchors at the appropriate locations. In any case, I think I will combine what Kerry did with some sort of anchor for a shoulder belt that allows th...

But where did you all drill?
I have a general idea of how/where do drill the holes. But I was wondering where specifically did folks put the holes for the rear lap belts. I was thinking that the drive-shaft tunnel for the inside achors, and the "floorpan", next to the wheel arch, for the outside anchors(both hidden by the lower...

REAR Seatbelts
Hello Everyone, There have been quit a few discussions regarding the installation/use of front seat-belts. That's not been a problem - I have some nice period seat-belts installed for both front seats. But I'd like to install some in the rear so I can take my kids places and of course there are no p...

back together!
Thank your to everyone for all your help. Sorry I did not reply a little sooner - I worked all day Friday getting the suspension back together and all day Saturday prepping the car for "Tutto Italiano" at the Museum of Transportation at Brookline Ma. I can say that the suspension is a B$% to reassem...

Hi Art, Thanks for the clarification - I was always a bit confused by the evolution of the 330GT .I have never found an reference to the "early series2 with series 1 dash", so your note is enlightening. My window switches are on the door. I THINK they are Carrello, but I may be mistaken. I'll check ...

Hi Tom - Thanks for the reply. I agree that it seems that the spring eyes should pivot - mine even have grease fittings to facilitate this. But what about the shackles themselves? Should they also pivot at their mounts, or should they be torqued down with the suspension loaded? The bolts to which I ...

Hello, I have a question regarding the shackles on my 330GT. But first, I should introduce myself. I have a 65 330gt interim (2 headlight, but w. 4 headlight interior) #7895. Its mostly a "driver" - mechanically fairly sound, and mostly unmolested (except for a poor paint job and worse carpets). I h...
