Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
Hi Tom, The fuel leak is from the fuel filter assembly inside the engine compartment-towards the right headlight. Apparently the diaphragm is torn-we are looking for one here that will fit. Once this is done, will synchronise the carbs and get the car on the road-will keep you posted. As always a BI...

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
She's running and she sounds beautiful!! Have not taken her out on the road yet-just kept the engine running-no problems so far-just some minor ones like petrol leaking from the filter bowl in the engine compartment and the oil tube leading to the oil pressure gauge leaking. Getting these two proble...

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
Hi Guys Thank you for all the input. The heads and these plugs are both aluminium. They are "weeping" -the water is coming through from underneath. The water system was not "pressurised" as the engine had not yet been started-we discovered this when we filled coolant in the radiator after recoring a...

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
Hi Andrew, What is the purpose of these bolts? I have been told that these are bolts that were used to flush the cooling system-is that correct? We tried opening them but they seem completely locked (as in rusted and locked into place due to not being opened ).An option would be to drill them out bu...

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
Thank you for your input Tom K, Tom Y and Mike. Have found the shop manual for the 330 GT-The engine is basically the same- a two cam engine, and am following the Torque specs from that. The assembly is progressing now, and hope to report back soon! Would have been completely lost without you guys.....
