spring sizes

I’ve been steadily undoing the modifications to my car in efforts to return it to largely stock condition. One modification that was made was the substitution of both front and rear coil springs, resulting in a lowered car. Although the job was done well, and even looks very good, I’d like to return...

I got my Packard 440 wire (7mm) from Restoration Supply Co. (www.restorationstuff.com) for .70/ft. They're really helpful folks and they also have a nice assortment of boots and Rajah terminals. Do a search of the forum for a really informative thread on the completion of this task.

I had no problem ordering from b-line, but perhaps the key is not relying on them to determine which filters are required.

The B253 (right side) was $9.04 and the B50 (left side) was $4.16. I received them within the week.

What is the source of the leakdown percentages (intake valve, exhaust valve, or crankcase)? Also, what are the other leakdown percentages?

I'm not sure that the other one has the same number, since it is covered with black felt secured by staples that I'd rather not remove. I assume it does, since they came together and match up otherwise.

rear luggage rack query

Along with my car came an interesting item I had not seen before -- a matching luggage rack assembly that fits in place of the rear seats. The previous owner said that it was given to him by a friend shortly after he purchased the car. It was described to me as a “dealer installed option” for these ...

For those of you who recently aquired ANSA systems: from whom and how much did you pay? What's the best source out there?

fog lights

Does anyone know which fog lights were original to the 250 GTEs? I have one Marchal 672/682 and one Marchal 690 (for those of you who have not checked, the numbers are prominent on the outside of the lens). I see that Tom's car has 690s on it. It's possible, perhaps even likely, that both were origi...

I thought that others might like some more details on my search. I need an entire system, which consists of (a) front Y-pipes, between header flanges and center sections, (b) center muffler sections, and (c) rear tail pipe sections. 2 of each are required, of course. I contacted Tubi, ANSA (through ...

exhaust system

I’m in the process of researching exhaust systems to replace the custom system currently on my car. The current system consists of 1 timevalve muffler on each side, big, fat pipes, and minimal bends. It’s a beautifully made system that is very throaty and very loud -- however, it's not sufficiently ...
