Re: Car cover wanted
Nope, they are just like the others and show only a cover for a 275 GTB. I doubt that the same cover would fit a 330.

Thanks for the tip. I purchase many items from them and never noticed that. Will check them out.

Car cover wanted
I'm looking for a nice garage car cover for my 1966 330gt 2+2. I can't find anyone that cuts one for this car. Can anyone recommend someone who will make one for me?

Re: Horn pickup on Steering column
I spoke with Dennis McCann this morning. Dennis has long been out of the carbon bush needed for the repair. In fact, he said he has gotten so may calls for it he is thinking about having some made. Good news is that his comments confirm that I'm not the only one who had done such a bonehead thing! B...

Re: Horn pickup on Steering column
Yep, exactly my situation. Does the carbon piece attach to the spring simply by fitting into the center of the spring? Thanks for the good info.

Horn pickup on Steering column
I was reinstalling my steering column and forgot all about the spring mounted pickup presumably for the horn that has what looks to be a piece of lead or something lead spring loaded that contacts a metal rink on the steering column as it turns. Needless to say I broke the lead material. And I even ...

Re: Wire question
Another thought. Assuming the lead goes no where think it would be best to remove the tee and hook the pressure line straight into the gauge? I assume that the pressure line connected directly into the gauge when it came from the factory. Correct?

Thanks Tom. I'll let you know what I find when I match all the wires and trace the left overs.

Re: Wire question
Tom, this may sound like a dumb questions but does an oil pressure gauge need power to work? The gauge was registering pressure fine when I removed the dash.

Re: Wire question
Tom, it is in fact a tee. My problem is that when I removed the dash this was one of the only wires not connected to anything. It could be that the wire was never connected when the tee was installed. I am in process of cleaning and repairing the wires that are behind the dash that remain in the car...

Re: Wire question
Tom, here are 2 picture of the back of the two gauge cluster. The cluster has oil temp and oil pressure. The picture are the same except in the Pic Oil pressure 2 I removed the cluster light bulb fixture so you could see the pressure gauge better. I am asking what the single wire off the back of the...

Re: Wire question
Are we talking about the oil pressure or oil temperature gauge? The oil pressure is a mechanical gauge with only one wire feeling the gauge light, while the oil temp has a sender wire along with the gauge light. I seem to remember a dimmer knob up in that region of the dash, or am I getting my Ferr...

Re: Wire question
the gauge panel has separate powered light bulbs so I don't think it is a light.

Wire question
I have my dash apart. I noticed that there is a wire coming from the top of the oil pressure assembly on the back of the oil pressure gauge. It was loose when I took the dash out. Does anyone know what it is and connects to? Is it a power wire?
