Another thought. Assuming the lead goes no where think it would be best to remove the tee and hook the pressure line straight into the gauge? I assume that the pressure line connected directly into the gauge when it came from the factory. Correct?

Tom, this may sound like a dumb questions but does an oil pressure gauge need power to work? The gauge was registering pressure fine when I removed the dash.

Tom, it is in fact a tee. My problem is that when I removed the dash this was one of the only wires not connected to anything. I have my dash apart. I noticed that there is a wire coming from the top of the oil pressure assembly on the back of the oil pressure gauge. It was loose when I took the dash out. Does anyone know what it is and connects to? Is it a power wire?
