Hey guys,
does anyone know what these parts are for, 1967 330gt. The screws are 6mm, the one with the collar has a smaller allen head. (did not check the size yet)

Thanks Zac, you absolutely right, I had the line in backwards. Kerry you were on the money, once I took the tach out, it was a breeze.

Re: does anyone have their motor out of a 330
Hey Zak, you have a good point, I actually spun the hose around when I installed the gauge because the 90 degree bend was under the dash and the other side had a straight fitting. When I looked at the parts book, I saw that the 90 was supposed to be on the block side so I spun it around. So now I'm ...

if so can you please measure how long the threads are on the union that comes out in back of block that the oil pressure flex line hooks up to. Part #93444 is supposed to be correct, but it's only 9MM long and the nut on my oil pressure line needs more threads for it to sit. I'm not sure what the pr...

Re: Cylinder Head Removal
the nuts under the plate are loose, they are to be turned in order to push the plate up, I didn't want to turn the bolts as they may cause damage to the studs. As far as the concave, I simply used a 1/2" drill bit.

Re: Cylinder Head Removal
I guess I wasn't paying attention on what car you were working on. OOPS.
John, my plate is made from 1/2" stock. I also concave the bottom of the push bolts because the studs on the engine are convex this prevents them from slipping off.

BTW I just noticed that on the picture above the word Ferrari and the raised portion of the valve cover, the wrinkled paint was sanded off, is that correct?

Re: installing engine
Thanks guys, you are all right, after taking some measurements I realize that it wont fit, but as hard headed as I am, I'm going to try putting it in only with the driver side removed as for the steering column would be in the way. The reason behind this madness is that I had a hard time making a go...

Re: Painting "the car"
Hey Andrew, I just had my car painted, and it was stripped down to bare metal, we did start with a catalyzed primer and then we used apoxy primer and fillers, I was amazed on the amount of stages of blocking and filling and blocking and filling. This took over two months to do. I did use metallic pa...

Re: Cooling System Part Finishes/Colors
Dave, if you find someone to make this pipe, please let me know, even though mine might work because the distance is exactly as original, I'm just not happy with the finish and the weld seem. I'm in NJ not too far from you.
