Re: Cooling System Part Finishes/Colors

SNV31118.jpg I was able to get a similar tube from Partsource, it was a bit different but with a minor mod. I was able to make it fit. As you can see I had to cut the pipe at top, add a small piece and change the angle a bit because the way it was, the flex hose on top hit the alternator. The only ...

Re: has anyone had wiper motor rebuild

Well here's the outcome so far, I found a broken brass conductor arm for the parking circuit that I'm going to have to build unless someone has one extra, and the second problem is when this arm broke,it got jammed under one of the large wheel tooth and it distorted it to the point that it would jam...

Re: has anyone had wiper motor rebuild

Hey Tom, I spoke to Joe Curto from Queens and he said that he no longer rebuilds any electric motors and if you can please take him off the site, but he was nice enough to give me a lead of someone that will work on the Lucas motors. His name is Jerry Felper from Cal. (714)279-8081 Today I will try ...

Re: has anyone had wiper motor rebuild

Thanks Tom,
I did take the cover off, but I did not get a chance to clean the grease off yet, and it is like a wax, I will take it all apart over the weekend and see if that solves the problem.

has anyone had wiper motor rebuild

I'm not sure what the problem is, I took it apart and everything looks fine, the brushes are good and it did work for a few seconds. If anyone knows of someone that can rebuild, please let me know. Or if you have any advice of what to check, that would be good too.

carpet update

Bill Hirsh just got a shipment of Wilton carpet in. I know that he has at least red and black, the red is not as bright as I would have liked, but it's real close and it's a very good quality.

Re: nead lead for carpeting

Bill Hirsh just got in some wilton carpeting in red and black. I just picked up a few yards in red, it's not as bright as the original but its close and its a very nice tight pile.

Re: nead lead for carpeting

Yes, you are right Tom, the Italian weave is much smaller and it is solid black, I know it's made in Italy and I wish I knew where because I'm going to be there next week.

Re: nead lead for carpeting

Thanks Giovanni, I live 20 minutes from Bill, he does not have the square weave but he has a red wilton coming in at the end of the month, it's not a bright red but it's close.

nead lead for carpeting

Hey guys, I need your help again. As I am ready for carpet, I thought it was going to be easy, the square weave for the trunk area is on back ordered through Re-Original, the interior red carpet in a Wilton does not come in a bright red, more of a wine, if anyone has a lead, I would surely appreciated

help with carpeting

I'm having the carpet installed next week or two but I'm not sure if the binding on the carpet is leather or cloth. Any information would be appreciated. 1967 330gt 2+2

no it's not a 4x7 rectangle, it is a 4 x 3.5 rectangle, the 7 mm is taking both sides into account.
