Many thanks for the photo and that info. I'll make contact to ask if they ship to the UK.

Re: 3777GT SII or SIII ?

Does anyone know who restored 3777? That's an impressive set of photos on the RM site.

Re: [SEARCH] Parts needed

Some years ago I recall seeing an article from someone who, in Denmark I think, had cnc machined aluminium replacements. I cannot remember if that was on this forum or in the 250GTE newsletter - perhaps this will jog someone else's memory. At the time I liked the idea of aluminium in place of Bakeli...

Re: Trim Pieces below the rockers

Hi kare - thanks for those photos, that show really well how the ends are finished. Nothing fancy, just a bit of brute force and rounding off . I've had no luck finding channelled stock material. So presently I'll be using plain rounded stock, now I know it's 25mm wide, and welding or brazing in som...

Re: Trim Pieces below the rockers

Hello Tom - next week is plenty soon enough after 16 years of waiting to attack this job. In the meantime I'll look around for some profiled and channeled stock material. Hello Kerry - good photo. Now I know what I'm looking for. Great responses from the guys on the site, as always. Cheers, Terry Ga...

Re: Trim Pieces below the rockers

From Tom's photo these look like the trim strips that run along the lower part of the sills of the car. I've not heard the term 'rocker' for this part of the body before. Anyway - my car was missing the sill trims when I got it and after 16 years I guess I could make a pair! Would someone please tel...

Hello Graham - which battery did you go for, original look or just functional? Dare I ask where from and how much?

Re: The GTE Register

Hello Tom (do we need to call you Tom W here?) - firstly a word of appreciation that you've taken over from Bill Preston. I'm sure that the register is more demanding in time than most of us realise but, for now, it sounds like you feel you made the right decision. The register's evolution from crea...

Re: Yeah Tom!!!!!

Good to hear that another one is safe from the breakers and recreationists. Full marks for patience and perseverence, Tom. From the photos, and the age at park-up, it seems the car is very complete - a big help.

Le Mans 2010 - GTE anniversary

Some time ago I seem to remember talk of Le Mans 24 Hours 2010 and the 50th anniversary of the public presentation of the GTE - as pace/marshall's car. I imagine 2010 will see both modern and classic meetings at Le Mans, the latter being every 2 years. For my own part, my car has been off the road f...

Brake Equaliser

We overcame a problem of front disc calipers not releasing by removing a rubber seal ring from the brake equaliser piston on SN4681. That was nearly 10 years ago and I can't say I noticed the difference then - certainly not now.

Rear radius arm bushes

Shortly after I got my car, 12 years ago now, it failed its annual inspection (MoT test here in the UK) owing to play in the silentbloc bushes on the radius arms. Not having the confidence at that stage to do the repair I took the car to a well-known Ferrari service and restoration business. A coupl...
