Re: 330GT mechanical fuel pump troubles

Hi Lowell, look at the pair of tabs again and make sure they are not upside down. john John, By tabs I take it you mean check valves. Although the intake and outlet valves look similar, that have slight differences in the groves in which the rubber gaskets go. So it is harder than you think to make...

330GT mechanical fuel pump troubles

About 6 months ago, I bought an old inexpensive car (not a Ferrari) and put it up on my lift to fix things. I still have one more brake to fix. At that time we noticed that the mechanical fuel pump on my 330GT we leaking gas. We removed the gas from the tank, put the front up on jack stands, removed...

Re: speedometer drive

Cory
If the odometer is accurate as you mention above, then I would suspect the gauge again regardless of the assumed restoration.

Re: 330GT 2+2 Grille

If they fit a series II and if you can get the aluminum anodized to stay shiny, I would certainly buy one.

Re: poop

Greetings… So I took the head to Patrick Otis in Berkeley for evaluation. He soda blasted the head to get a better look. Today he called with the news. He could replace the one broken seat and it would run. I asked how confident he was in the other seats and he said he wasn't thrilled with their in...

Re: Repalcing 330 GTC clutch line rubber hose

I did remove the bolt and clamp that was holding the clutch steel line to the firewall (pulled cabin carpet down). However there must be another clamp as Tom suggested) at the bottom of the line where the rubber hose connection is located. With the firewall clamp removed, the steel line cannot be p...

Re: Repalcing 330 GTC clutch line rubber hose

I think the steel line is held in place by an aluminum clip bolted to the fiberglass firewall. The flex line is bolted to a bracket where the steel line is attached. I don't think any of these pieces will move without unbolting these pieces. I wish I had a GTC at the shop to refresh my memory on a ...

Re: Insurance adjustment needed?

Did 8251 have a complete set of books and tools?

I see that the tow row of fuses in the engine compartment are missing a cover.
The cover is easy to make. So what else is missing on the car?
