How does my heater work?

Hi, I slid the lever (2nd one from the left on the left side of dash) up and opened and closed the various vents and turned on and off the fans (DL and DR, which do work). I am not convinced I got much hot air, but maybe a little. What is the corret way to get heat? Which vents need to be opened? Wh...

Thanks. The car seems to steer real well- good turn in etc. The car is solid going over bumps. The car doesnt lean too much in corners. The shocks arent bouncy. In other words the car feels great until I hit 90 mph (which I only do briefly just to see what it is like). The tires do feel hard to me w...

Tire Choice

Hi Guys I think my Pirelli Cinturato P5s may be ancient. My whole car shutters above 85 mph- I had this same problem in my 328 GTB that was caused by worn tires and was fixed with new ones. The shuttering is not localized to one wheel and makes no funny noises- its the whole car that shutters. Anywa...

The car was not involved in the fire!!! How do I know? This story came about as David Scaife's collection burned in a fire about 1995. First David Scaife told me personally he never owned this car. Second the owner of the car at the time, Roy Shelley, told me it was not in the fire but he DID buy so...

Thanks to Tom and everyone else! Verde Scuro wasnt on the color palate for Ferrari for 1967 according to Bluemel in Orig Ferrari V12, so this may be a unique 330. It also had special order perforated leather seats. If you are familiar with Keith Martins rating system this car is a solid 2 in conditi...

Thanks guys. I am getting the fender splash guards from a 330 2+2 parts car (see T Rutlands- they have everything except the engine). I got the jack plugs from Tom Shaughnessy- thanks Tom. I've had the car for three weeks and 600 miles- no problems. Took my wife to a party tonite themed Breakfast at...

Wheel Well Liner

On my Series 2 330 GT, I noticed it doesnt have the front wheel well liner which only cover the rear portion of the well. This part is listed in the parts manual. When I look back in the well, the inner part of the fender is neatly painted with a thick black paint and there is no rust or exposed met...

Thank you all. The dealer will not give the car to me until all is sorted out - good. I assume if the car is still vibrating they will look further (and I will ask to make sure)

Rubber donut Question

The dealer who is selling a 330 GT 2+2 to me tells me that there is a driveline vibration above 40 mph and they are replacing a"flexible joint on the driveshaft" Is this the rubber donut I hear so much about?

Thanks

Hi everybody! This is my first post here and I am a soon to be owner of a 330 GT 2+2. I have a deposit on one now. Lukek, I am doing the opposite of you. I already own a more modern Ferrari, a 328 GTB and I am now moving to a vintage one. It is generally agreed that the 328 is the most reliable Ferr...
