The internal numbers on the engine and gearbox match the build sheet. The gearbox does not need rebuilding.

The bottom of the engine has been done and the heads are on. I got to turn the engine over with a wrench today!

We have been searching for a heater control valve but have been unsuccessful. Can anyone suggest where to find one?

Hi Ed,
I believe I do have the battery tray. I think that my washer pump is in the same location (not sure- I have to check). Thanks for the thoughts about cooling- I am going to Richard's shop (Competizione and Sports Cars) on friday and I will discuss with him.

We have already relocated the washer bag to the proper location between the battery and fuse box. The two rad fans have been completely rebuilt and are as new BUT Richard is installing an auxillary fan which attatches to the front of the radiator and can be switched on when necessary. Richard has all the parts for the engine back and will begin putting the engine back together. The ANSA exhaust is on order and we are waiting for it. Thanks guys. Lowell, its been about 3 years with the new (and too thick) gasket and the trunk still sits too high. They dont squish or settle with time. I am seeing if we can trim a gasket to fit better.

We got the material from Re-originals and are having an upoulsterer make a new pad in the right diamaond pattern and will post pics when done.
