clutch

Well, after a few long trips this summer in the 365 gt, it became apparent that the clutch needs adjustment. Easy enough, except that I found that I am running out of adjustment. A new clutch for xmas? I think I should plan my attack. So far I have not seen anything in the literature that I have whi...

Re: Daytona Carb problems

Check with Mike Pierce, some webers can be ruined by machining the base, if that's what you have in mind.

Re: NOS Koni Self Leveling Shock for Sale

Hey Tom:

I think you should frame that baby and hang it above the fireplace.....................................................
No, wait, build a Ferrari pogo stick around it, bring it to Monterey and hop around in the pits for a better view.

Cheers

header heat shields 365 gt 2+2

Greetings all:

I had these heat shields fabricated by Gary Bobileff. It was quick and reasonable. Gary has a 365 gt 2+2 in his shop now so he had access to patterns.

Cheers

Mark

P.S. Hey Tom, I did it! I'm so proud of myself for figuring out how to mouse the photos into the post.

Re: 365 gt 2+2

Hi Zac: Thanks for responding. I tried Bill at GT car parts. He has not responded to my request. I called twice and spoke to him about it a few weeks ago. I can only conclude that there will be no joy there. Gary Bobileff is willing to have his fabricator make one up but he has no pattern to work fr...

365 gt 2+2

Does anyone have an old radiator valance that can be used as a template. Mine is missing and I would like to have one fabricated. Failing that, dimensions would be helpful too.

Re: Heat shields

I can offer my heat shields on a loaner basis. They are the U.S. version with slots for the air injector lines, but the overall form is the same as euro. shields.

Re: New Shop

Jenever it is, thanks for the correction, but I believe Ferrari's won't run on the stuff. Since we are enjoying the "great recession" travelling by such a human powered vehicle saves resources. I put 134 gallons (u.s.) into the 550 Maranello there and back from Monterey, so I will be reduced to my 3...

Re: New Shop

Hey Zac:

Why does it say "controversey" over the office area? Is that in anticipation of the arrival of Cornelis?

Cheers

Re: valve adjustment screws

OK, guys, got the cam timing verified, one big question though. The marks on the flywheel are AA 22 and CS 21 or exhaust and intake respectively 0.5mm. I also used a little 6" degree wheel to monitor my progress. The factory says that the cams should be @ 13 degrees 15 minutes 0.5mm, for both intake...
