Re: Restoring 330GT 2+2 Heater Levers
Very nice Darren. Those small details make a big impact. As for the lever ends ,if you ever need new ones you can cold cast them in black resin and drill a hole to Epoxy them on the lever .I made a number of these for my C4 with great results. Mike

Re: See-thru tuning spark plugs
Hi Jim you seem to know quite a bit about the fine tuning of these cars. To further pick your brain;if one dials in 5 more degrees advance at idle is there a danger of to much spark lead when full advance comes on at higher revs.Great discussion BTW. Best regards,Mike

Re: Yet another Daytona carburetor question
Hi Steve , one more thought. Are you sure all you ignition wires are up to snuff.Very strange things can happen if even one of them is not perfect ie: spark leaks, crossfire, intermittant firing ,etc. I make new sets out of Packard 440 solid core. Regards, Mike

Re: Yet another Daytona carburetor question
Hi Steve, I know you have been fussing with this for some time so forgive if I am repeating previous thoughts. Are you sure about vacuum leaks.Give a spray all around with carb cleaner and note any idle change. Spark timing on both banks? Valves set? Check the resistors on the coils . I found loose c...

Trunk seal glue
Hi Tom, you wondered about safely removing the trunk seal glue. I wonder if one of those wheels used to remove graphics from car bodies would work? They are advertised as being paint safe. Mike
