hi jim,
could you tell us how the brakes are on your GTS. the
serial number and the type and model of booster would
also help greatly. oh, and if it is a Bonaldi, (probably)
the very front of the master will have a number on it, probably
22?
thanks

hi terry,
i think that you'd be better off buying leather and finding a quality
interior shop locally and having them do the work.
i bought my hides through Bill Hirsch in Newark

but if you are looking for kits, i think that Auto Mat on long island
has kits for your car

stephanm,
can you comment on the brakes on your 365 cars???
i believe that you have ventalated disc, better calipers and
the Z-4 servo. but your car is heavier right?

ORIGINAL LICENSE PLATE FRAMES

i have come across a few NOS license plate frames for 330GT 2+2. both euro and US styles. The front USA frame is actually for 250PF soupes thru 330GT, and the rear Euro frame is also for the PF and GTE cars. you can see these frames on page 50 of the parts book. here are the part numbers front Euro:...

i guess what i was looking for in my last post was some input from some 330 and 365 GTC owners to share their braking experience. even though this may not be an apples to apples comparison, the basic set up is the same and it might be worthy to hear about 330GTC vs. 365GTC is anyone out there has dr...

yale, its interesting that you mention this because Bluemel goes on to say that the problem got worse for the 6 carbs because now you only have 2 cylinders providing vacuum!! i notice that the GTC went thru the exact same progression of boosters, Dunlop, to Bonnaldi, to yet another Bonaldi, just lik...

one more item: if anyone can shed some light, i am still curious about whether the large masters make a difference. either better brakes or a firmer pedal Bluemel also mentions that under hard braking the cast calipers have a tendency to spead which reduces the braking efficiency and gives a soft fe...

thanks fest for the input it seems that it is unanamous between people who have posted input like yourself and chris (the brakes run out of boost), the factory (many servo changes over the years) and now i was just reading in Bluemel on page 40: the 275GTB used the same exact system as on the series...

okay! now this is raising a few more questions.....i apologize in advance to those who are devout purists. 1. it seems relatively easy to connect all 3 intake manifolds together. would this make a big difference in vacuum and would this do anything to "hurt" idle or performance 2. if the booster doe...

thanks guys for chiming in!! an earlier post by fest regarding his 400i booster had some great discussion, but i am not sure i ever read about the conclusion. i think the cars i mentioned earlier had 400i type boosters fitted. i am also interested in Art's comment regarding Francois "garbage" commen...

hey! aren't there a few people out there willing to talk about brakes???? if the standard brakes are set up properly, are they excellent or merely adequate???? i have seen at least 3 cars, 330GT, 275GTS, and 330GTC that have been retrofitted with a 70's Bonaldi booster and a longer master that requi...
