These photos are great.
I already built my system using a remote blower to allow for a bigger evaporator core. I will try to post photos of the project soon.

330 axle stamping

I am looking for a serial number stamp on a 330 axle but there is nothing. On 250 axles I hae seen a series/serial number and a ratio number but nothiing on this car. The center section is iron not aluminum. Did these cars have a stamp? Could this be a replacement axle from early in the cars' life? ...

I would not use copper at the fuel rail.
WURTH has some very nice and super forgiving sealing 16mm fiber washers that just always work.
The red Kilimanjaro washers dont work.

I bought some original 13" with 5mm bayonette for $200 from Re-Orig. If you are not up for the long dollar, get some 12" from the Jaguar places. If you have good units with dried out rubber buy a set of trico classics for the XKE-III Jaguar and put the rubber in your frames. Moss and other Brit cata...

It is not worth getting a bottle of touch up paint from anyone except a local body shop. Have them take a photo of the color with a special camera and be prepared to have the body shop spend time tinting it further to match.
Leave them your gas door for a week to get the color correct.

Be prepared to change your jet sizes from the book specs. Many cars have much differet sizes from the book.
Fuel is much less "dense" these days and you may not know if your engine is slightly overbore or head work that can change characteristics.

The engine does not have to come fully out, you can raise it 5-6 inches. By the time you disconnect exh, hoses, etc, you may as well yank it unless you are sure it is fresh and has no leaks. If it is old, pull it from the chassis and balance the f-wheel/p-plate. Run it on a table to make sure no lea...

Make sure to use radial tubes. There is a difference because a tube for a bias-ply tire is rated for lower temps. XWX has a very stiff sidewall and it should get very warm I think that the best looking/performing tire in a "fat" size for vintage ferrari is the Avon CRZZ. High speed rating, plain sid...

Fuel Pumps

Based on some questions from Yale's post about the cost of Ferraris and the fuel pump issue. You can leave the entire mechaincal pump and regulator/filter intact, do nothing do disable these pieces just remove the original FISPA electric pump in the rear of the car and replace it with a modern high ...

Yale, It does seem like you have had alot of problems. I have a 365 GT 2+2 that I have done nothing to and has never had much done to it from new and it is always ready to go at the drop of a hat. Do not let the fuel pump issue get you down and do not rely on the OEM pumps. I install cheap Bendix el...

I had my local Auto-trans shop overhaul a few of these GM Hydra-Matic from the 400 and they just use off the shelf parts. Evidentaly there are some valving differences in the Ferrari installation but you should be able to ask your shop advice on shift points as well as shift speed. Let them know tha...

Great, I will look forward to seeing the images. I am going to fabricate the system from new and available parts but to see how it was done from Ferrari should help. I am using a modern rotary compressor and fabricating a housing for the evaporator with the fan being in a remote location as I do not...
