O.K. that's three guys that need this stuff so far! Come on! Someone in So Cal help them out! Danchuk has to have sheets of this stuff before they cut them into the shape of the 57 Chevy tailfin. We need someone with the right friendly/persuasive demeanor to get them to sell it to us in sheets. Anyo...

Lyle Tanner
Hello All, The word from the Ferrari Grapevine is Lyle Tanner filed for bankruptcy. I don't know how to do it, but can anyone confirm this rumor? For those who don't know, Lyle Tanner runs a Ferrari parts business and has been selling parts in different incarnations for many years. He often is the o...

If I had to make a guess, I would say the steering wheel is made out of mahogany. Oak tends to to have regularily spaced grain patterns that the Nardi wheel does not. Mohogany seems to have a real uniform grain to it. Any wood workers out there know? My steering wheel looks fine, and the Varnish rea...

Depending on originality, one could buy a "Painless Wiring" kit, and modify it to work on your GTE. It would have to be fitted to the Ferrrari fuse panel, but these wires are marked the whole way along the loom making for future trouble shooting a breeze. If you have the original harness like like J...

Hi Bernard, I took great satisfaction in refinishing my steering wheel myself. If you do a search on this site on steering wheel, you should see what I did. Simple wood finishing supplies like sandpaper, varnish, and tack cloths is all you'll really need. I used a high gloss Marine Spar Varnish that...

Hi Rudy, I have not had the chance to drive my car in extreme heat, but the water temps seem to run at about 90 degrees centegrade. The oil temps hardly move until at least 20 minutes of driving, and very little at that! Again, the true test of hot weather driving has yet to be done in my car. Yale,...
