I've done this many times, mostly with Intercity, but also Horseless Carriage. Never had a problem. I sold a (Pontiac) GTO (bad, very bad, idea) to a guy who used Newman and was very happy. Also I've used Rich at Rich's Classic Transport (c=402-366-1848). Super nice guy, has a small transporter, enc...

Somehow, I didn't get that expert response, but certainly welcome it. Not sure what I'm gonna do now, with both lenses broken. ?? back to the ones I had from the FLAPS. s

Haven't done that, but pulling the plugs wouldn't be too hard. Are you supposed to do a compression test on a Ferrari with the engine hot? I assume so. thanx s

Art, As far as I know they fit fine. No sweat putting them in and they're not too tight, or, at least, I don't think so. Jeez I've used Cibies in a number of 911s over the years, and an Audi, as well, never had this problem. thanx s

Loud exhaust popping on my GTC

For some months now, I've noted a loud and distinctive popping coming from my (??left) exhaust pipe. Occurs under all conditions, as far as I can tell, and not just deceleration. Clearly getting more frequent, but not sure if it's louder. At first I sorta liked it, but now it's very annoying, occuri...

Replacement Cibie lights...

Almost exactly a year ago, I bought two Cibie (H4) lights from Dan Stern. Within a few months, I noted that one of the lenses was cracked, odd I thought, esp. since the car is rarely driven and almost never at night. I replaced it with a another lamp, the bulb being fine. Yesterday, while I was fool...

Another Weber question

While trying to dial in the final curb idle on my 330 GTC (40DCZ Webers) I noted that the throttle valve/plate on the left, #3 carb doesn't open when you blip the throttle. Can only be moved with a long screwdriver. Not sure why, but seems like it's bound up. Think I might be able to tell anything w...

"Better to be lucky than good", or at least that's what I was taught. Knowing that the little retainer(s) on the "gear end" of the right angle casting was missing and reasoning (unusual for me) that it must have fallen off while setting the carbs (tach was working when we started on the Webers, and ...

Chuck, Best of luck for a fast and permanent recovery. One of my best friends had a brain cancer that started in his lungs...that was 6 years ago and he's still teaching our residents and practicing medicine. Here's hoping his good fortune will spill over to you! Besides, I'm sure to need your exper...
