PF Coupe values

I just noticed that the latest price guide info in Classic Cars magazine (June 2005) quotes increased values for PF Coupes as follows: Dealer price - GBP 200,000 Mint - GBP 160,000 Average - GBP 100,000 Rough - GBP 65,000 With the GBP-USD exchange rate a little over $1.80 to the GBP then this makes ...

Thanks everyone. I think the real answer is that I just need to drive it more. Then it would feel so much more like normal every time I got into it.

Thanks! I think the restoration result is great.

There are more photos of it in Tom's Owner's gallery section.

Driving position in PF Coupe

I took my PF Coupe for a good drive last week and was struck how strange the driving position felt. Admittedly I had just jumped out of my 73 Carrera RS which is also not perfect with pedals way off to the left (in a RHD car) but the 250 felt really weird. The wheel is obviously very large and quite...

My PF Coupe (1479GT) left the factory white with a turquoise roof! Officially Bianco Max Mayer with the roof in Verde-Azzurro. Sounds horrific!.

It was rosso chiaro when I bought it in 2001 and as I was not going for a concourse restoration I opted for gunmetal. I think it looks great.

Lucas ignition parts - remanufacturer needed

Having spent a couple of years trying to find a supplier for distributor caps, rotor arms etc for my 250 PF that was fitted with Lucas ignition by the factory, I am now faced with looking for someone to remanufacture the parts. The story so far is that my 1959 250GT PF Coupe was destined for the UK ...

The interesting question is how these sellers came about the manuals in the first place. I suspect many of them were unscrupulously "separated" from the cars at some point in time a bit like the tool kits that you see for sale at crazy prices.

Looks like it will go higher this time. Already at $62600 with 5 days to go and 17 bids.

Tempting.

My wife would kill me. I'd probably be forced to sell something else and I don't want to do that right now.

Better keep my hands off the "Bid" key.

250 GTE Bumpers (Fenders) on Ebay

Anyone looking for a pair of bumpers for a 250 GTE? There is a front and rear on Ebay:

I have no association with the seller but just spotted it and thought someone may be looking for these.

How about a Caterham. I'm not sure how many there are in the US but what a car. I bought an ex-race car in the UK - it weights 520kg, has 250BHP. It is quicker than a 911 GT3 RS, 360 Stradale and just about everything else on the track. And there is almost nothing that handles like one of these. The...

Website of cars for sale

Someone posted an excellent link for a website that had cars for sale all over the world by model type. Anyone remember the address?
