Here's my thought and next step on the gauges. At $80 bucks to set up each silkscreen, the five I need would cost $400 bucks. I don't know what it would cost for each of the silkscreens once I hade the screens made. This does not include the clock that D&M restored a few years back. I have an e-mail...

Hi Paul, If owners had to cut these panels themselves, it will significantly drive up the price. Can a master be made, and the owners can "fudge" the slots with a dremel tool to make them fit their cars? Doesn't a trim strip cover the edges of the panel? I know with the GTEs, the frame can cover a s...

Hi Eddie, Fortunately, my headliner was in pretty good shape, so I didn't have to replace it. Unfortunately for you, I can't supply pictures. When I was up at Jerry Curtis' shop last week, I was a number of stripped GTEs, so maybe if I remember the next time I go up, I will take some pictures for yo...

Here's the scoop. Yes, I will be there. Yes there will be a tomyang.net party on Thursday night. The big news, however, is Tom Shaugnessy has offered the use of an outdoor space at his Motel to host it. He was at last years, and felt we could use more space than my little motel room. The details wil...

Hi Ron,

I have the fax, but the list leaves a lot for your imagination. I was there on Sunday, so if you want to e-mail me your list, I can tell you quickly if he has anything.

Hi Scott, The bushings you are looking for are called silent bloc bushings. They are available from the usual suspects that supply Ferrari parts. Partsource has them. I also know tha silentbloc bushing may be had from other sources, but you'll have to make sure the measurments are the same as the on...

Hi Kare, Thanks a bunch! Although I don't have the dedication you have to collect and collate Telaio, I love to find parts to cars that are long gone! I'm currently writing a journal entry about what I found at Jerry Curtis' shop, but there are several chassis laying around his property. If I can ge...

PF number help

Hi Guys,

I need some help from the telaio guys! I found a trim piece from another car with either a PF number "447" or "477." I'm going to put it on my car, but I'm just curious which GTE it came from. Any ideas?

Hi Eddie, I don't know if there is any science to stopping the smoking with additives. It would seem to me the lead additive is a preventative measure to save the valve seats, so consider that when thinking it will lessen the smoke. Let us know what happens when you use these additives because I'm s...

What "Famous Ferrari Mechanic" would rebuild an engine, and not replace the rotted fuel hoses, and paint the valve covers? I wouldn't trust this engine was rebuilt on this car unless I had reciepts to prove it! I'm also pissed that they stole pictures of Yale's car from this website to post on their...
