Greetings... It's not just Concorso that is loosing its old crocks. I've been attending the Monterey weekend since the 9th annual (I think thjis year was 34) and the picture on the street has changed as well. You would see all sorts of "real" sports cars everywhere. Healeys, TR's, Alfas, Porsches, e...

fan relay
Greetings... Flexalite makes a really cool fan controller-realy. As temps approach your set temp, it will come on and waft a gentle zephyr through you rad. If the temps continue to rise, it will huff and puff harder until blowing for all its worth when it reaches the set temp. Another cool feature i...

Greetings... If your car is like my 330 (5769) the temp gauge sensor is in the top part of the cooling system just before the thermostat. This shows the temps we are used to seeing-180 to 200 (or so). The sensor for the fans is in the bottom tank where the temp should be about 20degrees cooler. My g...

Greetings... The switch on my 330GT with Bonaldi cylinder was the plug that formed the end of the m/cylinder. Large metric thread. I got a short bolt of the same thread and shortened it to make a new plug. I then drilled and taped it for 1/8npt. Switches with that thread are very common but I use th...

Greetings... When I did the engine on the Big Yellow Taxi, we found 2 cracked liners. There is a procedure in the book on heating the block for removal of the liners. The engine shop was across the alley from a kiln maker and they got together on the procedure. After replacing the 2 bad liners, the ...

Greetings... Mark Bradakus (probably spelled wrong) runs a group of lists under the team.net banner. See www.fatchancegarage.com and check the email archives. A couple of times a year in a low pressure approach, he solicites donations to offset the costs. This can be handled with a PayPal account. I...

Greetings.. Does anyone have any experience with the ZF limited slip? Not the clutch type but the excentric cams and plunger type. I think mine made a noise... Tim

Greetings... If the ends of your valves are looking a bit knackered, Crower Cams sells a device called a lash cap. It's like a little top hat for your valve stem. It was originally developed to provide a larger surface for the rocker to work on allowing higher lifts. (Some prostock drag racers run ....
